Hope is a great town to visit, I love everything about Rambo so that’s the best place for that! Exploring and chilling around the river is highly recommended.
I was so sad when we found out that Othello Tunnels is permanently close, it was one of the attractions we wanted to visit

We picked Hope as an overnight stop but the setting among the mountains was lovely. The trails within walking distance of our accommodation were beautiful. We walked the section of the trans Canada trial that goes to the Othello tunnels. Unfortunately due to weather damage they were closed for repairs but the walk on the trail itself was well worth it amongst the trees with the river below. Very much worth a couple of day’s walking in the area.

Have stayed in Hope previously for 10 days to work and didn't explore all it has to offer. However, it was a very friendly city and very clean. there are many cool spots to hang out and rivers to sit by.
Had a quick breakfast at Rolly's...great service and good food.

Hope is a nice town where the two highways heading East split. It's a good place to spend a night in transit. Lots of gas stations, fast food, supermarket, some interesting shops, nice art-cinema. Nice view down by the river. Be careful of what motel you choose. Some are good, some are awful.

I have been to and through Hope many times.
I have been to and through Hope many times. For such a lovely location, it is strange they have never tried to "gussy" the town up more. It is dirty, dining is difficult, not much choice and mostly greasy spoon places. The whole look of Hope screams hopeless. Stop for gas, a pee or ice then keep driving.

There was an absolutely fabulous native goods store.
There was an absolutely fabulous native goods store. There were a number of chainsaw wood carvings all around the town, in the park in the middle of town on street corners and various businesses. They were advertising the 40th anniversary of Rambo first blood movie and had plans to do a walkabout for it in October. The park motel was in the centre of town with all the shops in walking distance. The motel staff was friendly and gave excellent service.
We wanted 3 beds for the night in a single room as we just needed a place to sleep at a midway point in our journey to Vancouver Island and the hotel had what we needed. Located right off the Hwy and in the heart of Hope, this was an excellent place for us to stop for the night. The room was clean, as expected, and served us well for our purpose. The hotel is older as is the decor, but it was exactly as we expected it to be.
The suite was so spacious and comfortable, and had all we needed for our one night's stay. The fridge and pantry items were generous. I enjoyed perusing the bookshelf, and my son loved the glider; he was very happy.
Dean kindly allowed us to check in early, so we were settled and had more time to enjoy Hope... the view was spectacular. Thanks, Dean and Mamie, for a great place to stay!
We were greeted by the wonderful host, Pauline. She has such a beautiful home, and the cleanliness was a 10.
Lovely appointed bedroom, quiet and comfy bed.
Breakfast was excellent, great coffee, tea and just the right amount to get on the road again.
Thanks Pauline for the great music with breakfast, Ed Sheeran is my favorite ways to start the day!
Hope to stay with you again

Just loved this place, beautiful room (whistler) with breathtaking views. Such a comfortable bed with lovely linen, great shower and a.c.
Pauline the owner was so friendly and welcoming too. Breakfast prepared freshly to order with amazing views. So glad we chose this hotel in Hope and would highly recommend to anyone.
This bed and breakfast far exceeded our expectations on every level including comfort and a quiet place to rest and watch the birds and horses in the greenspace behind the property. Probably the best bed and breakfast we have stayed at, and we've stayed at lots of good ones in North America and Europe.
Super clean with lovely staff. My son was left stranded in Hope after the highways were all closed due to mudslides. The staff were caring and made sure he had a safe place to stay while we waited out the weather. I would highly recommend staying here.
It was renovated modestly and had everything necessary for a hotel/motel room big tv w Netflix and wifi fridge etc clean and friendly staff. Only downfall was the you could hear the highway noise
The lady at the front desk was lovely, gave us tips on what to do and where to eat. The hotel is very close to the new brewery in town that had delicious beer and food! It was clean enough.
It had a coffee maker in the room !!!
I had a shower in my room !! After the last hotel in Revelstoke this was a treat !!
It had an excellent restaurant "Rolly's" next door.
It's a older hotel but the rooms are great. Beds comfortable, and very clean. Very good location. Within walking distance to good restaurants and coffee shops.
