What we like: The space is good enough for 3 of us and the sofa bed is comfy. Breakfast is good but late comers may have less choices.
What we don’t like: It is advertised as equipped with kitchenette but only a microwave is available. We can’t really cook with just a microwave though kitchen utensils and dish washer is provided

There wasn't anything we disliked about Huntsville.
There wasn't anything we disliked about Huntsville. Our favourite thing to do if not driving around taking in the beautiful scenery is sitting by the water. Especially downtown Huntsville near the bridge (The Town Dock). Lots of activity on the water so fun to watch. There is a place to rent canoes, peddle boats and kayaks.
(We had the pleasure of watching two young men capsize their canoe. All was good. Lots of staff to their rescue and they opted for a peddle boat after that).
Last year we did the Museum and train ride. I would recommend that everyone see this.

This is our annual cross country ski trip. We love the amazing trails at Arrowhead, Bondi Villiage, and Limberlost. There's also lots to do in Hunstville - restaurants, hikes, lookouts, etc...we love taking a few days each year to visit.

The comfort inn was comfortable, clean, affordable and ready for us as soon as we came to check in. The staff were presentable and talked with enthusiasm. It was nice to feel welcomed from the time we opened the doors. If we have to stay in Huntsville again, we would come back again.

We ate at East Side Marios, the service was excellent and the food was cooked to perfection. Main Street has some quaint stores with some items made by locals. Huntsville is very easy to get around in with accesses to routes to major highways with ramps marked clearly. There are major stores for groceries, gas stations on main streets, all big box stores if you are spending summers there at a cottage, has all the necessities of big city but at a friendly slower pace.
The room is big and quiet despite being close to the highway, and was cleaned everyday. The outdoor spaces are a nice touch with tables and BBQ. There is a supermarket and gaz bar right next to the motel, and downtown Huntsville is a 5 minute drive with cute restaurants/pub by the river. Overall the motel feels safe, quiet and comfortable.
The room was clean, spacious and new, with a very functional little kitchenette and a large fridge. Everything was tastefully decorated. The hotel was quiet. The amenities were great and the included breakfast very satisfactory. It was the perfect base to visit Algonquin park. I would definitely stay again, as it exceeded my expectations.
The location of the hotel is really close to Huntsville's downtown, but also really good to take the route 60 and reach the Algonquin Park. The reception was nice and the check-in/check/out easy. The place has parking spots available which is helpful to move around and visit the city and nearby.
The hotel is very unassuming but the room was very well-appointed and was exceptionally clean. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast is as you would assume, but there was an ample amount available and we were able to find a seat in the dining area. All in all, good value for money.
Great bed, and clean. One downfall...the hair dryer was broken in this room, not a big deal, wife brings her own. Would be great if they could offer a bar area in the lobby much like many U.S. hotels do? Watched hockey game in lobby with friends, and it would be nice to have a drink too!
Clean rooms, A/C worked, mini fridge with a huge freezer, quiet. They left a wash cloth & hand towel on my motorcycle to clean my bike... only the 2nd hotel to do this in 15 years of riding! Nice people & had a great stay.
Liked that there was a lot of outdoor space, and it was quiet. The location was between Bracebridge and Huntsville allowing us the variety of shops and restaurants to visit. The park with a hiking trail was close by too.
Clean, very comfortable bed, nice bathroom, everything worked as promised. Paid extra for late check out (6pm Sunday) which was perfect. We could have a nice day on the lake and then head back to hotel before drive home.
Loved the staff, comfort and cleanliness. The breakfast was 5 star very impressed! Great variety and it was delicious. Normally, you don’t see such a great spread and choices as we did with this hotel.
Location was wonderful! A little quaint, quite hideaway in accessible distance to Huntsville etc. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely return upon a revisit to the area.
A shadow of what it was years ago. It used to be a world class wilderness resort. Now it’s nothing more than a big corporation owned warehouse box hotel that’s an eyesore on the landscape.
Good breakfast. Great staff. 2night stay to visit family. Maid service made our bed. Fresh towels & coffee restocked. Grandkids loved the pool. This was main attraction for hotel
Really modern and the hotel is by the lake, we could use bbq and canoe equipment. The room AC or heater functions really well. It’s peaceful and nice . We had a great time.
-newly built property, room is clean and spacious
- front desk staffs are warm and friendly
- bright hotel lobby with comfort sitting and free coffee and tea in 24 hours
Room was spacious and clean, A short walk to the centre of Huntsville, There was a Tesla charging point at the hotel that saved us time. We will return if in the area.
Room was a good size, standard "hotel" style shape. Sitting area in the lobby, was cozy with the large number of windows and sunlight, to eat breakfast in.
