The city of Kelowna is beautiful and has everything a traveller should need. Beaches, many Restaurants and hotels down town with a great variety within walking distance, many shops etc. But prices are very expensive there for everything. A vehicle is a must to get to most attractions because it is spread out. Many vehicle rental companies at the Airport, and some bike rentals down town. I did notice some boat excursions trips offered but I didn't use. Taxi is available but I didn't need any because I had a rental vehicle

To express my disappointment and concern regarding the treatment my aunt received during her recent stay at your hotel. I had made a reservation for her and specifically informed the reception that she would be arriving at midnight. I expected the staff to be polite, sensitive, and accommodating, considering the late hour and the cold weather.
Unfortunately, the experience was far from what we had anticipated. Upon my aunt's arrival, she was unable to provide a credit card as she had planned to pay for her entire stay in cash. They insisted on a credit card and did not offer any alternatives or accommodations for the night.
As there was a time difference, I only received the credit card form the next morning and can only send it on the same time. However, instead of understanding the situation and providing a solution, the staff simply called a taxi for my elderly aunt to leave the premises. I am appalled by the lack of empathy and disregard for her well-being. It is absolutely unacceptable to treat a senior guest in such a rude and disrespectful manner.
I believe that it is the responsibility of any hotel to prioritize the comfort and safety of its guests, especially when they arrive late at night. It is disheartening to see that the hotel failed to meet these basic expectations. I strongly urge you to address this issue and take appropriate measures to ensure that no other guest experiences such mistreatment.
I would appreciate an explanation for the actions of your staff and assurance that steps will be taken to prevent similar incidents in the future.

I personally live in Kelowna but my home was sold to developers and have been basically homeless for 4 months so that’s why I’ve been staying at hotels.
Kelowna is a nice place , just living here is tough . Years ago they called Kelowna “Canada’s Hawaii” because of our beautiful weather. Getting around Kelowna is easy I would say . Traffic is crazy in the summer with only one bridge in and out of town towards Penticton or Van .

Just an overnight stay on the way home.
Just an overnight stay on the way home. Airport a mess with expansion construction. Long walk to shuttle, need to improve this, I have a disability and made it very difficult. Also no airport restaurants open late, nowhere to eat if you arrive on a late flight.

Kelowna is absolutely beautiful and inviting it has all the right qualities and attractions to make anyone feel comfortable and welcome in our community. The views that surround you are breathtaking and there’s a beach or creek within a half mile to mile radius of you almost anywhere in the city. Walking paths and hiking trails are also of abundance here and there is no shortage of places to explore. Kelowna is a beautiful city and definitely worth putting in your vacation budget. Make it a big budget too a sit is a luxury that you pay for as prices are on the higher end of the markets

I lived in the area for many years and other than during wildfire season, the entire region is spectacular. There is so much to do, all year round! There are 5 or 6 top notch ski resorts, more wineries, golf courses and camp grounds than you can count, and the lakes have amazing beaches - especially Kal Lake which has a tropical feel mid-summer.
We always stay in the Executive king suite. This time was even more pleasurable than before. The room has been lovingly refurbished with new leather club chairs in an alcove near the desk, a new sofa bed, one of the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in, a private dressing room, a balcony with a view of the marina, and a good complimentary breakfast. We appreciated the secure parking beneath the hotel. All the staff were warmly professional. We will continue to reserve here again often, on every trip to Kelowna to visit friends.
I was thoroughly impressed. The modern rooms were spacious and clean, and the amenities were top-notch. But what really stood out to me was the exceptional customer service. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful, making my stay that much more enjoyable. Plus, the hotel's convenient location made it easy to explore the city in my downtime. Overall, I highly recommend The Hyatt for anyone visiting Kelowna BC.
Fair price for the location. Scouring the market price for similar hotels, this was one of the properties that were of good value for the money spent. Place was fairly new (about 2 yrs old), staff was friendly, room was comfortable (I had to plug in the desk power bar as it was disconnected). Good air conditioning which was sorely needed in the hot temperatures of Kelowna. I'd stay here again.
The staff were so friendly and accommodating, we can’t say enough about how they were so helpful and accommodating and the the Hotel was a pleasure to stay in, very clean and comfortable. I was in Kelowna on from Ossyoos BC due to a visit and minor surgery at he Kelowna General Hospital and my wife and I couldn’t have been happier with the staff and services during a trying time, thank you.
The pool and hot tub was lovely. Staff friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. Rooms where comfortable, good size with lovely balcony. The Restaurant was lovely, food delicious and attentive staff. Hotel Right in the heart of downtown Kelowna with easy walking access to park, waterfront and promenade.
the location is great, the big beautiful Kelowna Park which gives time to wander around is across from the hotel. there were lots of stores and restaurants in the area. the bedsheets, pillows and towels smell good. the shampoo, hair conditioner and body wash are nice too. the hotel is furry-friendly.
Best hotel I’ve have stayed … room was perfect … paths all over with mountains all around …couldn’t have a better location and view… pool and hot tubs on the roof were amazing … they had bikes for guests to use (saved tons of money in rentals) and it was attached to the casino!!!!! LOVE THIS PLACE
The fitness centre is nice and big, good equipment to get a good workout in
Stayed here just before Christmas and everything was decorated and absolutely beautiful
The room was nice and big and spacious
Lots of parking
Right across the street from airport
Love this hotel
Loved that it was so hassle free. I was met at the location on my timeline. Was able to have a small dinner party with family. I have let everyone know, word of mouth is the best advertising so I know that my friends and family will look at this when visiting Kelowna.
Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Kelowna, with wonderful views from the windows. Very clean and modern condo. A great indoor swimming pool with good temperature water. Very friendly and responsive owners. I would definitely stay there again!
The room was very nice.!
Bright and clean and well appointed.
The staff was fantastic. Answered all inquiries with clarity and friendliness.
Food quality was very good.
Great hotel to stay in with the city of Kelowna within minutes in every direction.
This is our 3rd time staying at the property the facility is always very clean. The breakfast is much better than any other hotels that we have stayed at in the area. It’s definitely our go to place to stay when we are in Kelowna.
This hotel nearby the Kelowna Airport, but it didn’t affect any noise when you stayed inside the room. The room is immaculate, and all the workers are friendly and skilled. It will be our next choice in Kelowna.
Great location central to Kelowna's downtown amenities. Bed was super comfortable in a very quiet room. The continental breakfast exceeded my expectations, with a well stocked arrangement of numerous choices.
Beautiful simple rooms, very clean and comfortable. The campus is also beautiful and parking was easy. Exceeded expectations and great value. Its about a 15 min drive from downtown Kelowna
Clean, well maintained property, but cheap. On the prairies this hotel would be $79/night, but it's Kelowna and truly it's location is amazing and it's what you're paying for.
Lovely host and hostess. Beautuful area. Minutes from the kelowna airport. They made us a lovely breakfast early in the morning so we could make our flight.
