The rooms were big and well furnished with extra linens, lots of towels and a comfortable bed. The suite came with a full kitchen which is great for staying with children. They provided a cot for our 1 year old and the place felt very safe. The pool was nice and warm and the breakfast buffet was very convenient before going out for the day. We enjoyed our stay.

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good.
The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good. I booked a room with a walk in shower because my husband needs that due to his falling. We were there because my husband had early tests at Victoria Hospital. But we were put in a room with a bathtub which is dangerous for him to get in and out of. I brought it to the attention of the hotel but they had already given the room I'd booked to other people. The bathroom was very tiny and cramped in the room we were given and because it was in the lower level (basement) there was very bad phone reception.

I was scheduled to be there for two nights but checked out a day early. I was disappointed in the staff and also the condition of the hotel and the lack of cleanliness. I will never come back. I should have read the reviews and avoided this place. It’s was listed as a four star hotel. The on site restaurant was not even operational or looked operational. I had to leave site to buy my breakfast etc. Don’t ever stay at the Travelodge Wyndham Hotel in London

London has everything for entertaining and just having fun.
London has everything for entertaining and just having fun. There are many parks with equipment for playing. There are indoor playlands for children at reasonable prices. There are many options for activities for adults as well. The Kellogs Building has many fun activities from indoor golf to rope climbing and jumping mats. We went to markets and strawberry picking and golfing. Everything within 10-15 minutes away. The hospital is easily accessible. The restaurants in the east end of town were plentiful and the food was delicious. We were able to walk to two parks that were well equipped and beautifully maintained. So much to do you have to stay longer to take it all in. We found the people we encountered very friendly and courteous. Will definitely be making more visit not only to visit family but to enjoy the area.

We were just coming in to bring our brother to the hospital for surgery. We found the Residence & Conference Centre on-line and made the reservation. We were pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness of the accomodations and everything about the stay there. The only attraction we went to was a breakfast restaurant call Early Bird and we absolutely would recommend it for both the exceptional quality if the food and the unique aesthetics and atmosphere. London looms like a very clean and well laid out city and we are planning to return when we have more time to just enjoy the other attractions the city has to offer.

Lots of stuff to see and do in downtown London.
Lots of stuff to see and do in downtown London. We stayed at Hotel Metro for 3 days and had plenty to do on foot in the hotel radius, that we never took our car out. Eg: Parks by the river, splashpad, unique shops, arcade, board game café, huge comic book shop, record shop, museum, live theatre, nightclubs, daily street events / festivals, tons of gourmet restaurants competing for excellence against the culinary college, etc. And the local streetfolk are tame and evasive, adding color to the already eclectic downtown core. You may even catch a charming caravan of social activists protesting on foot.
This place is incredible! It’s very spacious and literally has everything you need. I’ve been here at least 4-5 times and every time it has always been amazing, the staffs are also really kind and accommodating! Location is perfect, there’s a mall across the street, grocery stores and LCBO just a few minutes down the street, and downtown London is only 8 minutes away! Parking is also included. I’ll always be returning to this place, it’s beautiful and I’ve been highly recommending it to friends and family😊
The location is great. I had to travel into the downtown core several times a day for work and the location of the hotel provided an easy commute. It is also close to shopping and amenities and the grounds of the property are beautiful and calm. The facilities were relatively clean and quiet. There are plenty of outdoor spaces to sit and eat lunch or do some work. I enjoyed the walking trails and the river. The signage is clear and it was easy to find the parking area for the hotel.
Convenience in the city.
Initially I booked a double room because most single room in hotels do not have a bat tub. I NEED A BATH TUB.
The clerk offered to upgrade me to a king room.
I accepted on the condition of a bath tub.
The king room was a BIG MISTAKE.
After a long day of work then driving to London, I was too exhausted to move again.
I never expected the upgrade to be a wrong move but it certainly was a big mistake.
The King suites were very spacious and well appointed - clean and functional. Great to have the microwave and fridge. Free parking and covered was also very nice to have. The bed was most comfortable - my husband said probably the best hotel bed he had slept in! The staff were very friendly and eager to assist with any requests - excellent service!
Hotel was beautiful and very well located for a night away with my best friend. The beds were exceptionally comfy, the room was large and very clean. Unfortunately, the spa was closed on Monday so we were unable to get any treatments but we were aware of that. We truly enjoyed our stay at The Idlewyld Inn and Spa.
The staff is exceptional always helpful pleasant and friendly. The rooms are like a trip back in time, old fashioned and quaint;very very clean and very comfortable. It’s lovely and quiet. It’s within walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants. Good location to access other places in London.
Great location, centred at the heart of downtown London. Hotel staff were friendly and rooms were a good size. Loved how our dog could also share the stay with us. The hotel had a simple breakfast bar and hotel underground parking for a fee per night. Overall, it was a great stay!
I liked the room because it was so clean and nice. Also bed and pillows were so comfortable. It was also very nice that they gave me water in the room when I asked for it. There is usually no water in hotels and I really liked that they provided water.
I needed a room close to the London airport to drop my friend @ 4am. . I got a room with a hot tub for under $100. The staff were friendly and it was pretty quiet considering it's on the main street in London. I would definitely go there again 😊
It was a very nice hotel room, I received a free upgrade when I arrived. The staff were very friendly. The room was nice and clean. I loved the fact that they offered breakfast in the morning.
I've stayed in many hotels in the area around the same price point and this one is the best in my opinion. It was clean, roomy, and we'll appointed. The staff went out of the way to be helpful.
Amazing staff, hotel was spotless and the breakfast was so good. We come to London often to visit and try a new hotel each time but I think we'll stick to this one for now on
The whole property was clean especially our room. The bed was comfy, quiet area, easy access to downtown London, the breakfast was delicious and well stocked!
Great price!
My last 3 trips to London, I have stayed at Hotel Metro and will continue to do so. Location is amazing, staff is super and the rooms are clean and unique.
