Nice location, smooth check in, nice room, very quiet
We stayed to visit my brother in Michener Centre. We took him to the Collicutt Centre which is fully accessible for people in wheelchairs in the pools. The Collicutt Centre provides wheelchairs to be taken into the water. There is a hot pool for people in wheelchairs and a hot pool for more able bodied people. It is also fully accessible for people in wheelchairs at Gaetz Memorial United Church. On the whole Red Deer is progressive for people with disabilities.

We were in town for me to compete in the Spartan race. We did not know it was Westerner days which was a great bonus. We got to eat some fair food and went to a great local restaurant. Red Deer is great.

Red Deer is an unknown gem of a mini-vacation.
Red Deer is an unknown gem of a mini-vacation. There's lots of things to keep you busy, from quiet pursuits (Fort Normandeau, the migratory bird sanctuary, parks, etc) to much more active pursuits like the BMX trials, the air show and concerts that we heard about when we were there. It's got loads of shopping in less crowded spaces as well as many specialty shops if that's your thing. Great restaurants and access to many prairie gems as well. We love Red Deer as a weekend haunt.

Very nice small city. Very easy to drive around.
Very nice small city. Very easy to drive around. Lots of green areas with walking and cycling paths. All the same amenities, restaurants and retail outlets as a larger city but without the headaches of the congested traffic.

If you are attending the CFR at the Centrium in Red deer,...
If you are attending the CFR at the Centrium in Red deer, this hotel is a two minute drive with clean, quiet, comfortable rooms equipped with exceptional bed, coffee maker, microwave, fridge and free Wifi. The basic continental breakfast is fresh and tasty, but a large variety of dining options are available adjacent to the hotel in both directions, many within walking distance. Easy access from Highway 2 and convenient free parking. A definite gem at a reasonable price!
The hotel was nice and clean. The staff were really friendly when I came in. I had two dogs and it was easy to get a pet friendly room. The kids really enjoyed the waterslide and the pool. The breakfast was really great! Almost better than I expected. There was yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, tons of different breads and donuts, cereal, bacon, eggs, these yummy mini pancakes, make your own waffles, and juice. They had coffee with all the fixings. Different kinds of creamers and sugar. I most definitely would stay here again
So far, there hasn't been anything nice to say about this. The people that were to stay at the hotel did not feel safe. We are been charged for a room that no one stayed at even though hotel staff were told neither room was being used. This is very disheartening as I have stayed at Super 8 hotels at other places, and have never heard of such issues. This paints a bad picture for the hotel and Bookings.com.
Very nice hotel with a very welcoming gentleman on the desk. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Nice view over some of Red Deer. There is also a pool and boutique shops. Breakfast was very good and filling to set us up for the day. The hotel is being renovated to make it even better. Highly recommended.
We unknowingly stayed in Red Deer during Westerner Days and hotels were booked up. Normally we would have stayed in a more modern upscale hotel. As a budget hotel the accommodations were fine. It was clean and I felt safe staying here. Staff were friendly and helpful.
I loved the location. We were super close to shopping centres and a short drive away from parks and trails. I loved how pet friendly the hotel was.
I also loved the staff. She was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful.
it was better then a cardboard box i guess but kinda like the upgrade was just a deepfreeze so you think its beter but its still a box. i didnt have to leave the hotel to get drugs! they are right across the hall from you
The lady helped my kids make their waffles and pancakes. Very patient, accommodating and kind.
Front desk was top shelf
With one phone call management made sure our stay was perfect
Best hotel in Red Deer
This hotel is great value for the price. The staff were very helpful and the facilities were second to none. Plus they had a great breakfast! I would recommend this to anyone looking to travel to Red Deer!
Pool and hot tub were great. Staff were friendly and check in/out was a breeze. We always stay here when we come through red deer. Beds are so comfy, great value for price.
Perfect for a basic trip! Way more character and love then a bland chain hotel. The restaurant serves amazing (!!!) food. Valentines dinner was spectacular.
I did not get breakfast there.
I plan to come to red deer in November and I will have breakfast.
Great place to stay and very friendly staff.
