We were here for fall train trip and it was nice.
We were here for fall train trip and it was nice. Not needed again though. We went to a different place for every lunch and dinner. We had 2 serving staff that weren’t of a spicy attitude. The other 2 were nice and friendly. The food was fair but nothing that was amazing. I won’t go to the Sault again. Very pretty area though!

We went for fall foliage and were not disappointed- it was gorgeous! Hike Robertson Cliffs! We also did the Agawa Canyon Train and, hmm. We had hoped for a spectacular train ride, and it wasn't. The canyon itself is gorgeous, but you get 1 1/2 hours there which isn't much considering the train ride is 8 hours r/t. Most of the other passengers were elderly though so it seemed about right for the less mobile. We enjoyed the canal site and all the historical markers, but unfortunately went on Sunday and discovered the visitor center is closed on weekends. Huh? The seaplane museum was open and fascinating.

No police in Sault Ste Marie?
No police in Sault Ste Marie? People were drag racing up and down the Main Street in front of hotel all night. Hotel was dated and shabby but clean. For the price it wasn’t good value at all. I’ve paid similar rates at hotels that were well kept and updated. It was clean and staff were nice though.

We drove north of Sault Ste Marie along Lake Superior.
We drove north of Sault Ste Marie along Lake Superior. Absolutely beautiful. We drove up to see the pictographs but I was not able to complete the hike as it was pretty rugged. But my husband did and he got some fabulous photos. Luckily he did not go swimming due to the wet, narrow ledge.

we have returned to this hotel time and time again. We are always greeted by friendly staff, even when we arrive later than expected. The hotel is dog friendly, which is a must for us, and located next to the waterfront trail. It’s close to museums and a local brewery. The hotel is SPOTLESS and the rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is now being served again and it was a very standard continental breakfast. The breakfast staff was a delight. I will definitely be back!
Upon crossing from the US side, it was very easy to find the Days Inn on Bay Street.
Front Desk check-in was simple and quick. Parking under the hotel was free and very well lit. Entrance well signed from the parkade.
Beds super comfortable, lots of pillows.
Quiet overnight -- great sleep!
Next morning check-out was even quicker and the team behind the desk were some of the most friendly hotel staff we've ever encountered.
Did not have breakfast at the hotel but had dinner, the place is just spectacular and close to everything. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Everyone at the front desk were very welcoming, actually the whole staff made the journey worthwhile . The spa area was clean and beautiful. I am so glad we chose to stay at this hotel, would do it again,
It was the best hotel, I will recommend it to everyone and I will always stay there ourselves.. The rooms are big, there is a lot of space when the kids are small, there is a place where they can play, jump and run, there is a place for luggage, a small kitchen, which is very convenient. It's not a room, it's a spacious apartment...
Very well run, very clean and modern hotel, with a great highway location and all the services required.
Giovanni’s restaurant just a little south of the hotel on the same side on HWY, is an excellent restaurant; offering very good / tasty food & service at quite reasonable prices and with generous portions. Highly recommend it!
Stayed for one night passing through. Clean and comfortable! Can’t comment on what’s nearby because I was so tired I didn’t even look around. My only complaint was I used the hotel provided shampoo/conditioner and it made a lot of my hair come out and was very drying. (Maybe just bring your own!). Would return.
The beds are as comfortable and comparable to mattresses I’ve used at The Hilton and other 5 star hotels. I have stayed in many hotels in the Sault (Days Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Microtel) and this is by far the best value for your money. The owner is exceptionally kind.
There is a very nice breakfast awailable. We were many weeks on a travel trip and appriciated the possibility to use the laudry room with free soap. Thank you.
We visited the hotel last year as well together with our daughter and granddaughter. We like the Hotel.
In 2022 our family of four travelled across four Canadian provinces for 13 days in July, staying in different hotels each day, so the comparison is very objective. The hotel was newly renovated very clean and tidy, the room was large and the bed was comfortable.
The room is spacious and clean. The rate is very affordable. It also includes breakfast-to-go (no buffet during COVID-19) and coffee. Location is close to Sault Ste. Marie boardwalk. Only a few minutes walking distance to many restaurants.
The hotel felt like it had been updated recently and had a more modern feel to it. Also really appreciated the breakfast selection! Great value for a one night stay.
Location. Beautiful water views.
Rooms were large. Beds exceptionally comfortable. Lovely staff.well kept hotel. Nuce to ha e a Starbucks within the hotel
