Room - the ceiling toilet light went out; originally we thought why the bathroom is so dark, the next day we found there were a ceiling light out. We didn't report that, and observed Housekeeping didn't make any changes during our entire stay.
Breakfast - we only went for 2-3 times during our stay. The waffle machine was very popular, got to use it on the last breakfast of our stay, but the waffle mix dispensers were quite stuck, and the signal went out, I made decisions of when to turn, so the output was so-so.
Clean - I find fine hair on the bathroom floor when we checked in, could have done a better job. Forgot to clean/ change towels even I put them on the floor. The towels seems a bit too old, can let them retire.

The room is clean and comfort. The staff is very nice, we went to gym, the machine didn't work, the staff came very fast and fixed it.

It's under construction and being renamed. So here it's listed as Newmarket Hotel, but when you arrive its actually named Fairmont.
The front desk staff was very friendly.
The room was clean and nice, beds comfortable. But there was no coffee cups, just the flimsy plastic cups that you can't put hot liquid in.
I didn't eat free breakfast, but took a look to see what was there. It was pretty basic..although no bacon, just sausage, beans and scrambled eggs for hot food and then typical kind of over ripe bananas, apples, yogurt and muffins and toast.
Overall it was a nice hotel and I could see that once the construction is done and fully converted over to the new name it will be a nice hotel. Right now it's just missing the little extra details, like the coffee cups, milk in rooms...and of course bacon!! 😁

Was a great little town, everything I needed was close by.
Was a great little town, everything I needed was close by. I was travelling to Newmarket for a family function that happens once a year. As a result I didn’t do much shopping or walking but did find the people in the town to be nice and welcoming.
