The staff was terrific. The room was small and the bathroom very small but . . . The location is great and everyone working there was lovely. Best of all, a breakfast bag was delivered to the room and it was excellent— freshly baked turnovers and a muffin, yogurt and orange chunks. The owners are still working on the-rehab and I wish them the best!

Location was good however the weather did not cooperate so that we could take full advantage.
The towel sculptor and truffle heart on the bed was a nice touch to celebrate our 50th anniversary.

The staff are lovely, the rooms were clean and it's a super convenient location!
Just a note that there is not a microwave in the rooms should that matter for you, and the bathroom products are green tea based.
The rooms are massive for motel rooms and there was a lovely armoire for hanging our clothes plus a dresser.

A pleasant small town even in winter with enjoyable seasonal lights along the river and downtown. A relaxed friendly atmosphere in all the stores and restaurants/cafes we visited. Interesting older buildings in some of the local neighbourhoods.

Always a great visit.
Always a great visit. We go almost every year and see two plays each time and have yet to be disappointed. Stratford is great place to relax, have good food and quite evenings. Don't miss the Stratford Perth Museum, a great learning experience about Stratford! If you have a bit of extra time visit Saint Marys. And, if you like Indian cuisine don't miss Raja Fine Indian Cuisine.

Stratford Festival offers excellent theater with many different musicals and plays to choose from. We enjoyed the talk with the plays director. Beautiful town with wonderful views and gardens around the Avon river.
I have stayed in several hotels and inns in Stratford over the years and this one had the best location. It's a little old, but unlike many of the older hotels, it had an elevator which was important for me. I don't walk well, but the location is so good it was easy to walk to all the theatres and the downtown shopping. This meant I did not have to drive once we booked into the hotel, and that I could have a drink in the intermission of the plays. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely book here again.
It’s a fantastic place to stay at near Stratford. The room is big, clean and has everything we need. The bathroom floor was newly renovated. The bed and pillows are comfortable. The AC is strong and quiet. It’s located on Ontario Road (Hwy 8). Just 7 mins from Stratford and there are restaurants, Walmart and supermarkets within 2 min. By the way, their outdoor pool and poolside sitting area is fantastic! Mike is awesome!
I had an amazing stay when I was in town for Stratford Festival from Downtown Toronto. Such a lovely B&B immaculately kept by lovely, and kind owners. I really enjoyed freshly prepared breakfast while chatting with other guests :) I didn’t drive but it was only a short taxi ride away from the festival area/theaters. It was the best weekend getaway from the city. Can’t wait to come back!
I loved the character of this boutique hotel! Perfectly situated for views, walks, shopping, etc. Smooth check in, zero issues. Bed was so comfy, excellent pillows. So many thoughtful details too. Really excellent quality for money spent. Lovely patio outside! It was a memorable stay and the next time I'm in Stratford I know where I'll be booking!
Great location! Apparently, the hotel has been renovated. I did not see what it looked like before, but it did look quite nice now. The room that we were in was nicely decorated. I especially love that there was no carpeting! I would like to thank one of the owners who offered to drive us to our car which was in the Cooper lot! Thank you!
The hosts are phenomenal and are well informed about the shows in Stratford. They gave excellent recommendations for food, made reservations and were more than generous with their time and efforts. The breakfast was delicious and home cooked each morning. When we return to Stratford, we hope to stay here again.
very clean. very well maintained. All items (TV, fridge, etc) worked as expected. Cable TV had plenty of channels. Beds were surprisingly comfortable. Great value. Front desk staff was very friendly. This is a fantastic location just minutes from downtown Stratford, and seconds from all needed amenities
Antique refurbished hotel, but brought up to the current standards to make guest comfortable. Every stair case corner and the reception is beautifully decorated. Also the location is amazing, right at the heart of the town, next to the city hall.
It was very cozy and quiet for good sleep :) also close to downtown, just 3min by walk. The small lounge in the room was our favorite part while we were staying here. I’d like to stay at Henry House if I come to Stratford again. 💖
Breakfast was very good in the restaurant. Just wish they made part of the hotel plan. Location was outstanding. We could walk to the Shakespeare play we had tickets for. Also, lots of good restaurants and shops on Ontario Street.
The room was very comfortable. Staff were very accommodating, friendly. Ambience was lovely - decor of hotel was above average and provided a very nice mini holiday. Pool was very clean and hot tub private and clean.
Location is perfect, it’s right at the centre of Stratford. Free parking, good price, friendly inn owner. No microwave in the inn but he offered alternative way to use microwave from Perth County inn.
This was my first time in Stratford and I couldn't have made a better choice than Arbour Garden: great location, fantastic room, charming and supportive hosts. And one of the best B&B breakfasts ever!
Really lovely place, with fantastic and friendly staff- so close to restaurants, bars and sights! Clean, great amenities- the best hotel of our trip around Ontario.
