Vancouver is one of the best cities in the world -- greener and cleaner with many sights to see and enjoy. Enjoy Shopping at Robson, dine at Gastown, enjoy the park and beach at Stanley Park, enjoy the adventure in Capilano and be close to other attractions in Victoria.
It has been one of the best vacations. The city's beauty, fantastic nature, flowers - it is definitely rhododendron heaven in June, fresh seafood, you name it. We visited Whistler, Sea to Gondola, and Shannon Falls, which was an unforgettable experience, as well as white water rafting and sailing. We even met a black bear in the ski village. Luckily he was interested more in dandelions than us. We also rented electric scooters and explored the city and the Sea Wall, which seems one of the best ways to cover long distances. Freshest oysters, very tasty sushi, and multiple other great food options.
Vancouver is a great city to visit! So many options for outdoor activities- a highlight for me was biking around the seawall, English Bay Bikes were very affordable to rent from. Also lots of great walking around the city, just pick a neighbourhood and stroll around for the day. Main Street has good shopping, especially vintage/consignment stores. And transit is easy to navigate, always a bonus!
Vancouver has just become another over populated dirty city. Construction everywhere. Roads are terrible. Traffic congestion noise and way over priced. I was only there is visit someone in hospital. I will never choose to visit the Vancouver lower mainland ever again.
Vancouver is a beautiful city with so much to offer. I could have easily filled a week with activities. We visited Stanley Park and the aquarium, and also went to Capilano Suspension Bridge and the SkyWalk. Wow! I wish we would have had time to go up Grouse Mountain and to Granville Public Market. Hopefully, I can fill that bucket on a future trip!
We were only in Vancouver for one night before leaving on our cruise to Alaska but everyone we talked to was friendly and polite. At the area surrounding the cruise port, there are many helpful volunteers and there are many officers directing traffic so getting there goes very smooth. We took the train from the airport to downtown Vancouver and it was very easy to do, again when we got to downtown, there was a volunteer standing outside the station and offered to help us find our hotel. We were only a few blocks form the waterfront and we had supper at at great waterfront place called the Tap and Barrel, the food was great and we got it within minutes of ordering and the service was exceptional, cost was great. We stayed at the Wyndham by Days inn downtown and the location was great. Within mlnutes we were at the seawall and waterfront, Stanly Park, shopping such as winners, H and M or gucci and Prada, great restaurants too. Something for all tastes and budgets.
The room was lovely - we had a premium corner room which was bright and very comfortable. We ate in Tableau, the restaurant, one night and it was delicious - excellent cocktails, very knowledgeable and friendly staff, great Happy Hour offers. The staff throughout the hotel couldn't have been more helpful - all very naturally friendly without being overbearing. The hotel is in a central location close to Stanley Park, city centre shopping and sea planes to Vancouver Island. The gym was also great for a quick work out.
A very well appointed suite with kitchenette and free wifi and secure parking. Also includes a free breakfast every morning which was great. This location is close to many dining and shopping venues. A ten minute cab ride took you anywhere in downtown Vancouver to most venues($10). David at the front desk is a great ambassador to this hotel, very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful….he made our stay one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. l will stay here again when in Vancouver.
Great property if you’re looking for budget room in central Vancouver. The location is perfect, walking distance to all shops and central Skytrain to airport. The rooms are basic, but as expected for the low cost hotel. It had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. The bed isn’t the most comfortable, but we asked for extra blankets to pad it out and was acceptable. Has coffee maker and fridge, just no kettle. I’d stay here again if we were on another budget trip.
It was located in downtown Vancouver and was only a short walk to the train stations. There are bus stops very close to the entrance as well. Book ahead to get a good deal. The hotel has a very nice interior and it was also clean right from the lobby to the room itself. Lots of shops around and if you need to stock up on water, 7-11 is only a short walk away. Would definitely stay here again!
One of the best hotels in that price range I have ever been to. The view from above was just stunning. There was plenty of space and everything we needed. They even granted us to stay 2 hours longer than the regular checkout time so that we could attend an online meeting. Will definitely come back whenever I am in Vancouver again!
Location is great for me so easy to get around downtown Vancouver plus get across burrard bridge to kits plus with the fire I traveled all night to arrive at 3 am they being booked solid still found me a room for the night and just moved to my original room in morning this hotel is my go to for Vancouver balconies beautiful views
The location of the hotel was ideal for our trip to downtown Vancouver. We had pleasant interactions with the staff, who were very friendly and helpful with any questions we had, they even let us borrow some umbrellas for the raincouver weather, which was really kind! I would recommend this hotel, and would stay here again!
Loation was awesome to walk to Gastown, Pacific Center Mall, Vancouver Arts Center so many places. The best thing was it was exceptionally clean without having any horrible cleaning product or spray smells! Never trust a hotel with air spray or harsh cleaning product smells.
Great view to North Vancouver, Cardero & Canada Place Great restaurant & breakfast Great location, between the Stanley Park and Coal Harbor Easy access to main streets Great restaurants and facilities around the hotel
I like that it’s in Robson street in West End l which is pretty close to all the good places in downtown Vancouver like the beaches and Granville Island. The hotel was very clean and the staff were great!
Easy to drive to, available parking. Short walk to Granville Island "aquabus." Compared to the exorbitant summer rates of other hotels in Vancouver, it's a bargain.
Hotel looks slightly faded from a distance - inside thoroughly modernized, everything worked great, excellent value for money in downtown Vancouver
The hotel is right beside the Vancouver Club where we were attending a wedding. Great price considering you are right across from Canada place.
The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. Location was perfect. Very easy to get around downtown Vancouver.
Perfect location in Vancouver downtown. Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and very clean
The hotel is super hi-spec and the location is so central, a stones throw away from Robson Street. The hotel was just opening up when we stayed, so some facilities weren’t open yet. I can tell once everything is up and running it’ll be an incredible hotel! The staff were so kind, big shout out to Annie- She was absolutely amazing. She went out of her way to make sure we had an amazing stay.
This is 3rd time we stayed here, as good location, friendly reception, warm heated rooms, clean and comfy.
Cleanliness Comfortable Great staff
Location amazing and very clean
