Was in middle of snow storm so unable to visit anything.
Was in middle of snow storm so unable to visit anything.
Went to Salisbury house for lunch but staff were very indifferent to customers and rude if distracted by requests.
Food was mediocre didn’t have the items on menu
Roads for a city with snow storm were clear and able to navigate from one end to the other easily.
I would return during summer to checkout more attractions

Ahhh the charms of Winnipeg.
Ahhh the charms of Winnipeg. From the frigid winters to the eccentric locals, Winnipeg is always an interesting adventure. Plenty of shopping, unique restaurants and things to do but public transit can be pretty sus at the best of times. Make sure your immunizations are up to date and enjoy your stay in Winnipeg

Winters can be brutal but the history and old buildings are amazing. The city started as the melting pot of immigration surrounded by treaty land. If driving keep your eyes on signs, they are everywhere. Street are named so it's easy to get lost but with google today, why not? They have a good bus system if a bit slow, no trains. Love the parks, especially the Assiniboine and the Kildonan is a close second. Great spaces for dog play and walks at Maple Grove. Hot summers with plenty of humidity which means a great time to head to the big Lake Winnipeg.

I enjoy visiting Winnipeg, lots to see and do.
I enjoy visiting Winnipeg, lots to see and do. Most sightseeing requires a vehicle as you can spend 30 min driving from place to place. Downtown is a good museum and The Forks. Overall for shopping and food, there is many choices. Avoid the both end ?Empress Walmart, many sketchy people and is usually very busy.

The weather definitely determines what you can or cannot do.
The weather definitely determines what you can or cannot do. We had a good time - short and sweet since it was just a stop over.
Oh - uber eats was terrible. It was 30 mins longer than they said and it was cold when it arrived. I won't do that again.
Everything about this hotel was amazing! The location was convenient, they had parking that could accommodate vehicles with trailers, and there was a gas station adjacent to the property.
The rooms were stunning and exceptionally clean, with comfortable beds and crisp linens. The bathroom was large and well appointed with quality toiletries.
The breakfast was better than most hotels, featuring a variety of hot and cold items.
Overall, a fantastic stay. Highly recommend to anyone travelling through the Winnipeg area!
Everything was fantastic , it was the nicest hotel room I have ever stayed in , huge room , extremely clean , it wasn’t quiet because there were a huge amount of guests staying including kids so there was a lot of noise in the hallways but everyone was having a great time so there you go lol, I missed breakfast because I had to be at the airport early would stay there or recommend to anyone to stay at the holiday inn on Ellice in downtown Winnipeg
Literally across the road from the Air Canada Centre, so it's a great place to stay if you're there for a game. It's really spacious and well equipped and had a great view out across Winnipeg from the balcony. Didn't need to use it but it has parking available which is needed in the area. Nice bathroom with a hot shower and great water pressure. It's really quite a nice apartment and was quite a comfortable stay with an easy check-in process.
You can see IG Stadium from this hotel. There are places to dine within walking distance and of every budget and ethnicity. The place has free parking where you can see your vehicle from the room. We walked to the Bombers game. Given the price I would not stay anywhere else in Winnipeg. Tons of shopping a short drive away. Staff are polite and helpful. The room is beyond clean. We thanked the maids for their hard work.
This is a super hotel. Clean, quiet and safe. Staff were very friendly and explained all we needed to know regarding our stay. Beds were so comfortable and air quality was great. Definitely recommend the Queen Bee for any of your stays. Also great location, love that it’s away from downtown area but many shops, eateries and malls at close range.
Will be using this hotel for next trip.
Thank you for your hospitality!
The room was nice and spacious, the beds were super comfy and there’s tons of free parking. There was even room for the trailer I had attached to my vehicle. It’s only 15 mins from Downtown and 25 Mins to the Airport. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more. If your coming to Winnipeg and don’t wanna
spend a fortune on a hotel room, then stay here. We will returning for a 2 nights stay in June. Cant Wait.
Location was amazing. We were in town for the Eagles concert and the Canada Life Centre was across the street. I felt safe in the hotel and parking garage. The staff were kind and helpful. The girl that checked us in was training and not very informative, but her colleague, Aice, was very helpful, kind, and enthusiastic.
I will not hesitate to stay at the Alt again.
Close to the 100 on the South and west side with access to the TransCanada. Very easy to get back on. Facing back parking lot so very quiet. There was a hot breakfast included with waffle, omelette, bacon and various grain choices. Coffee was excellent! Room was spacious and included a fridge/freezer with microwave. Queen bed was comfy.
Great customer service! My original room's Air condition wasn't working properly. Debbie, the hotel Manager, went above and beyond to help me accommodate and was able to get me a different room which happened to be a master suite. I've made the right choice in staying at this hotel on my monthly visit to Winnipeg.
So much more than expected. Sheriff was so friendly and accommodating. The location wasn’t the best. Kinda far from downtown but the place made up for it. Great bed in a private room with a living room attached. Awesome couch and tv setup. Clean, roomy and welcoming!! Definitely a place worth staying!!
This little local hotel was so nice and basic. We were in Winnipeg for a family function and this little gem was so right for the price and location.
The room was spotless, the bed super comfortable which provided a great nights sleep. Great little cafe and big pub attached to the property.
there is the big issue of parking because in the morning we stayed in hotel Marlborough Winnipeg and someone was brokered car window glass and steel all personnel belonging and credit card also
