The hotel is beautiful and comfortable. The view is just amazing from the balcony and also from the breakfast area. Even though the hotel seems to be a bit older, the furniture appeared to be new, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The staff were kind and helpful. We especially loved the breakfast - we will definitely come here again! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great location Right next to the bus stop. The receptionist was extremely friendly and she helped us with our late checkin. The view is amazing. They also have a swimming pool. Bathroom is great and had a bathtub.

Excellent location (just a short walk down the hill from the train station), wonderful staff, delicious breakfast! We enjoyed our stay very much! The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of food to chose from during breakfast and we received answers to all the questions we had. The hotel has its own history which we found very interesting to see in all the pictures that were up on the walls.

Lugano is expensive and not overly endowed with hotels so it was a pleasure to find this welcoming and reasonably priced hotel, not too far from town centre. We booked room with balcony which was lovely, side view of lake as described and south-facing. Station is walkable on arrival as is downhill - you get a travel pass in the price and the bus was very useful to and from town and back to the station. Staff very friendly and amusing.
