An excellent base for exploring all parts of that area of...
An excellent base for exploring all parts of that area of Switzerland but requires a car or use of public transport to get to the main sites and scenery. We use it as a great value base for exploring by car and you'd be hard pressed to beat it for quality and value in that capacity.

Plenty of free parking space (with many charging stations). The rooms are basic but comfortable. The TV set on the wall is huge by hotel/motel standards. The coffee machine in the room gets you only 2 coffees in the morning (2 espresso capsules), but that's enough to get one started - there's more coffee in the restaurant for breakfast.

The public areas of the hotel were beautiful and the underground car park (which is free) is perfect. Our room was ok, the shower was fantastically powerful! The towels and bed linen were spotlessly clean. We very much enjoyed our breakfast, wonderful coffee, delicious cheeses, meats, yogurts, breads, pastries, preserves and fresh peaches.
