The rooms are simple but perfectly fine for the purpose. Free parking right next to the hotel is also a plus - but finding a spot can sometimes be challenging because the place is so popular with the locals :-) Price-wise, Gasthof Seefeld is unbeatable for the region - I have stayed here several times in the past year and will be coming back.CyrielNetherlands

Although now a no smoking room, the curtains still retained the smell of stale cigarettes and there was a burn mark on the desk. Just to clarify, I was once a smoker so I wasn’t being over sensitive. The receptionist found me a room on another floor as soon as she had received my complaint. Hurden is a lovely, peaceful place.

The room was small but comfortable and clean but the best thing is the “Sonderbar” and the Restaurant. Super nice staff, unconventional dishes at a very good quality, very delicious 🤤 and great value. Will definitely book again

The staff (on the days they stayed at the hotel) were very kind. The bar and restaurant on site are great with a good atmosphere and good food and drinks.

Hotel room is not the most modern we’ve seen but good enough for a nice sleep. Rapperswil is a 15 minute walk away via the wooden bridge
