We loved the apartment and the wonderful hospitality. They provided us with all kinds of delicious dairy products straight from their facility! There were lots of dishes, cooking supplies, towels etc. The beds were comfortable, and it was clean and quiet.

This is a great little hotel and is the third time I have stayed here whilst visiting the Willisau Christmas Market. The rooms are situated in an adjacent new modern building and the rooms are large, well-appointed with modern excellent bathrooms. You need to leave this building to get to the actual hotel, but it is a matter of a few metres away. The hotel itself was built in 1907 and is in a more traditional Swiss style. There is a contrast between the rooms and the hotel that reflects the building method and time. Breakfast is of a simple continental style but appropriate.

Beautiful chalet with lovely rooms which were all super clean. Lovely sitting areas in the rooms and a lovely dining room with tea and coffee facilities. The host of DeHeimelig was excellent and helped us with things to do in the area and places to eat.

Situated in Wasen, the recently renovated Hof-Fankhauser features accommodation 37 km from Bernexpo and 37 km from Wankdorf Stadium. Guests can benefit from a patio and an outdoor fireplace.
Beautiful village of Luthern ... Hills and walks all around with streams of water and sounds of cows.
A very beautiful and peaceful church - one of the best I have seen. Very safe even if you are out and about in the night to enjoy some star light and night views.
It's a little off the track from main roads and public transport. So only good for you if you are willing to drive an extra 30 mins to reach the main highways. Might be an issue if there is snowfall or rains as the roads take you up and down the hills and they are narrow in places. But absolutely worth it - especially if you are going in summers.
