You need to know Italian to feel good overthere. Some Italian restaurants are great. Expensive as everywhere in Switzerland, but no so as in Zurich or Geneve. Old town is nice. you may see everything within a day.

I mostly stayed in my room so I can't speak much about the city. Everyone I met was friendly and helpful despite my lack of Italian fluency. Reminds me of many small cities around the world, the places where the residents are personal. One of the greater joys of travel.

I assisted at the Easter Processions : the historical one on Thursday night, the religious one on Friday night. The processions are candidates to be inscribed on the UNESCO heritage list. It was an incredible and superb experience! The old town of Mendrisio is beautiful. I loved my trip to Monte Generoso and La Fiore di Pietra by Mario Botta! Wonderful views from 1704 m! I also liked the FoxTown shopping experience with great marks with good discounts.MonicaSwitzerland

We took the option that included dinner and breakfast. I think it was worth it as we had some delicious pasta the night we got there, and the breakfast the next morning was enough. The room seems to have been recently renovated, and it had enough space. I saw there was a bus stop just in front, so good for travellers without their own transport. As it was out of season, I think the value for money was great.

Amazing staffs and really professionals always ready to support. They upgraded our room to a more spacious room because we have kids at no extra cost. That was really supportive and made the kids had so much fun. If you love shopping, Fox town is just beside the hotel, so comfortable to shop. Really an excellent hotel and I will definitely score them high with strong recommendation.
