Location is flawless for ease of access after you have arrived or about to leave Basel. Right in front of the hotel you have a selection of trams and buses that will take you wherever you need. Rooms are extremely spacious and comfortable and modern. You can also find a great place to get some work done which is not always the case even at solid properties. Breakfast is one of the best hotel breakfasts you will find, definitely recommended.

We travelled with dogs and it was good to have a large garden and green spaces on property. The hotel is very close to pubic transport (a tram line) connecting it to St. Jakob park (a shopping centre). We arrived after reception closing time and could collect the key via a safe box, which worked perfectly. The tram station is about 3min walk away and can take you directly to the center. The tram ticket is included in the price. The breakfast is ok, but the choices might get tedious if staying for a week or so. There is a gym in the basement of the hotel, with enough equipment to keep you going. There is also free of charge spring water provided.

Breakfast was very good, Bio Orange and grapefruit, actually it was all Bio. I do my grocery shopping in Coop and I buy lots of bio stuff which I reckon is great. Room was nice, quiet, lovely bathroom. Mineral water in our room. We were here for one night and if we visit friends again then I will choose the Hotelpark without indulgence.

The hotel is very well located and it's convenient that the supermarket is on the same building. The room that I used was very good using a wheelchair inside and has a nice terrace. Hotel is just two minutes away is the station for tram 14, which takes you to the center for about 15-20 minutes. Near the hotel there is a supermarket, several fast foods and a bakery.
