Saillon is a beautifully situated village amidst the vineyards, apple, pear and apricot orchards, rivers and mountains. It's a haven of peace and tranquility where the sun shines nearly all of the time! The short climb to the old part of the village is well worth it!

Easy access to the pools made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay with our one year old daughter. We unfortunately had some noisy neighbors on the adjacent balcony who could not be tamed by hotel staff, but fortunately there was another available room we could move into to get some peace. We found the food and service in the restaurant to be very hit and miss - one night food was good and service was quick, the next food was disappointing and service was very slow - difficult to manage with an impatient toddler at the table. The saving grace was the Magical Tree in the restaurant which bought us several minutes of adult conversation while our toddler enjoyed the toys and played with other children. Great location for the hotel in the midst of the gorgeous valley.

Saillon is a beautiful, picturesque small village in the french part of Switzerland. Around it one can find numerous vineyards and do wine tastings. The nature is amazing. Not too many things to do but it is a perfect place if you want to relax, do some sports (like hiking, biking or simple walking in the nature) and go to bed relatively early.
It is also easy to visit other places around like Martigny or Iserable.
In Marigny there are also interesting things to do.

This medieval town is a hidden gem and we were surprised that not so many people know about it. We stayed at Chez Constance which has the perfect location in the middle of the town. We got to explore a little the area but we wished we had at least an additional day to stay there. Climbing the tower was super cool and walking thru the vineyards was amazing. We are definitely coming back!
The venue was fantastic. Our room was spacious, comfortable and absolutely relaxing. The bathroom was amazing.
Breakfast was also excellent. Offered many options.
Getting to the pools was super easy and we had unlimited daily pass so we would go twice a day.
The pool area was also amazing. There were so many options and so many things to do. Able to cover all tastes and needs.
Also, had dinner in the hotel all night and the restaurant was also excellent.
We loved the place and we would also love return soon.
An excellently appointed studio apartment which is ideal for exploring the area between Martigny and Sion. It is connected to public transport through the Hotel des Bains de Saillon (covered walkways) and is a short and pleasant walk from both the Rhone and Saillon. A local supermarket, together with direct sellers of wine and fruit, makes self-catering easy. The view is East, toward Sion.
Absolutely quiet, 4 restaurants in walking distance (in the center of the village), very low likelihood of vandalism (the hotel is a bit out of the way), therefore ideal for parking motorbikes outside.
We have stayed in this hotel several times over the course of 10 years. We have always enjoyed our stay as it is comfortable, in a very nice surrounding, a perfect relaxation.
