The hotel was very nicely renovated and decorated and extremely clean. And the breakfast was excellent, with many more things than we could eat. The family suite with the well equipped kitchenette (even with tea and coffee!) was perfect for our family and the two dogs, too.

One of my favorite holidays. Spent a week here working remotely and enjoying the ski amenities nearby. Breakfast was vegan friendly and delicious. Looked forward to it every morning. Relative inexpensive for CH. Parking. Ski/boot room. Simple but OK breakfast. A short walk to a T-bar lift giving acess to the rest of the ski area. Depending on the snow cover you can almost ski back to the hotel. Close to town. Die Hütte bar is right next door.

The staff was amazing a super nice welcome. The breakfast was amazing, everything was fresh and we even had some sparkling wine 🍾.
The guys who was working there was on his own but always friendly and helpful.
A great base for exploring the region. We walked to Filisur via the Landwasser Viaduct and then took the spectacular train to Davos and bus back to Schmitten. We also drove to Lenzerheide and enjoyed the swimming pool and Rothornbahn. Another nearby visit was to Alvaneu Bad and to spot marmots we drove to Durrboden and really enjoying walking in that valley. The sausage shop next door was great, we bought loads of products and enjoyed using the public barbecue next to the play park in the village. Views were amazing!
