First, I don’t usually give tens, but Hotel Gerig and their staff more than deserve it. They made our one-night stay exceptionally pleasant. Already at reception we immediately felt at home. When asked about a possible walk to take he went outside with us to show the way. Two other staff members were extremely nice to my 6-year old. The hotel is very nicely decorated with art and pictures all over. The restaurant has excellent evening food and breakfast and looks as welcoming as the rest. On top of that the bedroom was great! Easy to reach from Göschenen by bus (stop Wassen Dorf)

Beautiful location with picture postcard views. Very central and perfect for using as a base for further exploration. Everything was clean and very well organised. Breakfast was very nice, dinner was tasty and the staff were very pleasant..

Stayed here for one night but wish we could’ve stayed longer! The area is quiet, charming, and conveniently located. The staff were all welcoming and nice, the room was very clean, and the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in! We also ate at the restaurant which was cozy and delicious. The glass windows all around the bedroom really delivers on the mountain views. It was like spending a day inside a painting, quite surrealistic! The room has everything one needs for 1 or 2 nights. The breakfast is really good, the staff was kind enough to accommodate our diet requests. Easy parking, easy to find. Easy access from car to elevator and to the room.

Great town for passing through. The apartment was clean, spacious and we had a very good night of rest before hitting the road again. My friend said he had the best night of sleep since the start of our road trip. We walked up to the mountains and the views from there were lovely.
