The room was very pleasant, clean, comfortable and had all the necessary facilities including its own bathroom with shower.
The location of the Hotel Dufour was very good, in the town centre and near the old town. It was a pleasant 15 minute walk to Biel/Bienne railway station and there was a frequent trolleybus service to and from the station.
The breakfast was excellent and very tasty with a good variety of drinks and food which were plentiful.
The hotel also had its own excellent Indian restaurant with an impressive variety of food which was very reasonably priced.
The Hotel Metropol is located in Biel, close to the city park, and offers en-suite rooms with free WiFi, satellite TV and a refrigerator. A garden is available as well.
