San José de Maipo is a wonderful little village, colorful, peaceful and friendly. The position is very strategic as in only one hour you can reach beautiful places for hiking and more. Rafting activities are just around the corner. I stayed for three days and managed to see a lot, but would have loved staying a few days more to fully enjoy the place.AlessandraItaly

The mountain retreat location was so peaceful and calm, it was just what we needed. The meals were lovely and robust. Because we had never been to the area before, we had lots of questions about local activities, and got so much help in planning our stay. The hot tub was just perfect on a clear winter night for stargazing! The sauna was also a nice splurge. We also got massages on site which were well done and very affordable.ElizabethUnited States

The bed was really comfortable and the only sound we heared at night was the river, what we really enjoyed. We got an offer to use the jacuzzi once for free and it was amazing. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and it was nice to make our breakfast with the eggs, bread and cake that we got as a gift from the hotel. The restaurant was great, delicious food and they easily adapted to a vegetarian guest. They also delivered a delicious breakfast to our room which we ate outside on the balcony! Great value for money for the room, food and drinks were a bit pricier (but worth it!). We also had a view of the river from our balcony which was a great bonus!

It was also nice to have a pool on the premises, and it felt very relaxing and safe. Restaurant was great, we were amazed by the quality of food and presentation. Special thanks to the waiter working at the restaurant, Santiago, he was excellent and very attentive to all guests!

The rooms are large, with mosaic work, a huge walk-in shower, and a large bed. The staff is very nice, the breakfast delicious. Very good coffee. We enjoyed the hot tub, a drink from the bar, and the walk in Las Cascadas.
