The hotel is not far from Dali Ancient City and there are many restaurants nearby. The staff were very attentive and helpful in giving information about interesting places. The morning market across the road gives a good local vibe. Traveling time from Dali train station by taxi is around 30 mins.

The Location is great because it is within the heart of the old town but bear in mind that car drop off is not possible, you need to walk quite a distance with your luggage should you have a big case like us. However, the property keeper assisted us in transporting our luggage upon our arrival around 10 pm. I wish to stay more days like 5 nights instead of 2 nights.

The hotel is in a small side alley, with no car traffic, so it's very peaceful. It's also just a few minutes away from the pedestrian zone, and close to many restaurants and shops.
Room was large, and despite some weird furniture arrangement it was comfortable enough.
Bathroom is without a separated shower, so it can get a bit flooded but it does dry surprisingly fast: personally I don't love it, but I even I could live with that.
Staff very young and possibly not very experienced, but helpful, kind, and smily. Just a bit of english spoken, but the translation apps helped. Keep it up :)

Inn was conveniently located right beside the Er Hai gate and within walking distance to anywhere within the Dali ancient city. Hosts have great taste in the decor and design of the inn and paid attention to small details of the facilities. We had a good time chatting with the host who also gave us useful advice on the routes to take to the various attractions and local delicacies. The two resident cats Riceball and Egg yolk were cute and friendly and we enjoyed listening to their story from Beijing to Dali. Overall amazing service delivered by the hosts and we would gladly stay again if we revisit Dali.
