Best view of the Arenal Volcano.
We stayed 3 nights, but 2 would be enough. We visited ecological reserve and Selvatura Park. The host served delicious breakfasts. We also ate dinners at the lodge. It was a very tasty local food with great presentation. The host, Eulogio, recommended a hike to the falls on the property, and we followed his advice. It took us about 1 hour to complete the hike and see the falls.

Wonderful, clean and modern looking cabins with a beautiful view overlooking Arenal Lake.

We were greeted every morning by some birds on top of our cabin, and could see and hear all kinds of wildlife from the deck overlooking the lake. Special mention for the lovely cats running around the property and coming to greet us!
The hotel staff provided special vegan options for breakfast every morning, which were absolutely lovely and tasty, and which was well above our expectations. Also a big thank you for allowing us to check in at a very late time at night and staying up late especially to accomodate us, very much appreciated!

But our stay was also so unique and perfect because of the professional work of the Sangregado Lodge team! Larry saved our holiday and helped us with one big problem! He even took his time to show our kids some animals on the territory! Francesco and Bryan were also very helpful and even reserved us last minute hot springs!!! And its perfectly clean!!!! We are traveling a lot in Costa Rica, this accommodation is our best experience! Pura Vida!

Although the hotel does not have a view of the volcano, it has a beautiful view of Lake Arenal and the surrounding nature. There are two swimming pools, the warmer of which is ideal for children.
I must commend the hotel staff who restored my faith in humanity. I forgot a few clothes in my closet during check out which I didn't discover until two days later. The staff hid the clothes and we came back for them a week later.

Its a small boutique hotel with nice view of the lake and volcano. They have kept their hotel clean and newish. There are some nice people in the staff. Good secluded place for a romantic vacation although it is too far to anywhere unless you are driving. The restaurant is reasonable.
