The staff is absoluteley amazing an do the best they can - I mean at reception. At the bar there is a bit of strange strict policy regarding happy hour .... has to be the same cocktail although two have he same price and if you order two different you can only do that as you receive 2 (so4) at the same time ...... really unflexible and strange policy. But again staff is great at reception and also the pool area with the monkeys is really nice. Breakfast is stated that it is included but thats just some toast and a cup of coffee and for the rest you get charged

I forgot to mention before about the assistance I got from the customer service representative ELISABETH. She helped me since the very begin of my reservation to the very end with great knowledge, efficiency and patience. I am I little challenged with the internet but she was right there for me, did not matter the time. We are all lucky for having her.

Absolutely stunning area of Costa Rica.
Absolutely stunning area of Costa Rica. A very nice and friendly vibe in the area. No safety concerns at all. Beaches.....just "wow". Do not miss this area. Stayed for 6 nights...could easily have stayed longer.

Good beaches.
Good beaches. Espadilla, even when crowded, is large enough that you can walk a little and get a fairly empty beach if you prefer. A car is a must-have if you plan to explore the town, but you're not missing much if you stay in a resort with beach and jungle access the whole time. The most expensive restaurants are good, all others are nothing special and just okay to not be hungry. You'll get better treatment as a foreigner because people expect tips, so definitely take advantage of that if you are one.

Mid-February is very hot and humid for this area - 90 degrees Fahrenheit everyday. We really enjoyed visiting the park and seeing rainforest wildlife, swimming at the beaches (watch out for strong rip tides!), and familiarizing ourselves with an area we had never been to before. Be ready to pay tourist prices (you are in a high tourism area - and it is so for a good reason), but if you can get an apartment with a kitchen, visiting the Quepos farmer's market and being able to make some of your own meals make this area more affordable. Glen's on the beach has the best chairs and his whole family is so kind and helpful. Going into the park for the first time with a guide is highly recommended, but so is going a second time on your own at your own pace. Get there first thing in the morning, because it heats up and gets busy after 9 AM. Eat at the Falafel Bar, like everyone says, because it is delicious (the smoothies are really refreshing). The public busy is easy to navigate, so use it and explore! Favorite activity in the area, other than the national park, was by far the Night Damas Mangrove Tour with Iguana Tours. Explore and have fun!

The room and bathroom was large and balcony overlooked the jungle, monkeys and birds came to the balcony everyday
The area is so lush with beautiful flowers and trees. The beach area and ocean was really nice. The way down to the beach was easily accessible, the path down has ropes on both sides to help.
Swimming pool was lovely surrounded by tables and umbrellas could have meals there if chosen. Excursions easily booked by agents and very informative.

Outstanding facilities.
Outstanding facilities. The grounds are amazing with a nature trail, many amenities, multiple swimming pools and restaurant choices. Our only suggestion would be for a more detailed description - perhaps a printed booklet - of the various excursions you can book from the hotel.
Hotel is located very close to the Manuel Antonio national park entrance (very convinient as your car can be parked for free at the hotel secured parking and then you can just walk to the park entrance). At the same time, great and long beach is just across the road - amazing for morning walks!
It takes a few minutes of walk to several good restaraunts nearby, if you do not want to eat in the hotel cafe itself.
My room had a nice view of the palms facing the beach.
Our room was next to pool area with mutiple cabanas with beds. Pool side bar. Beach is about 5 mins from hotel. Manuel Antonio Park entrance is 7-10 mins walk from hotel. No need for a car if staying here. Local bus on main beach road can take you around area to next town, it runs frequently. Beach area has surfing, dining, atm, small shops, cheap beach tent rentals. We originally booked only one night but decided to stay 3 instead for the end of a 16 days vac.
The hotel staff are very friendly and always ready to help with any problems. I really liked the excellent attitude of the staff towards the guests.
The excellent location of the hotel next to the entrance to the Manuel Antonio National Park is just a wonderful bonus to a comfortable stay at this hotel.
I really liked the presence of various beaches near the hotel: public with black volcanic sand and beaches in the national park with white coral sand.
We picked this hotel because of the (relatively easy) walk to the beach, and that worked out perfectly. The pool was also great for our kids, and it was awesome to be able to order food from the restaurant to eat poolside. Our room was amazing ... two huge king beds with a jungle view, and great AC! Breakfast was a buffet with lots of options ... not the best we had in Costa Rica, but pretty good and very convenient.
Gorgeous property tucked in the jungle wit ocean views. Close to town and to the Manuel Antonio park. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable! We stayed in the house - very roomy for 2 couples with a great veranda, and the kitchen was fully stocked. It was our favorite place we stayed in Costa Rica. Absolutely recommend!!
Perfect location. right next to the entry for Manuel Antonio National Park and minutes from the beach and main shops/restaurants on the beach. Easy to use the local bus up to the main town too. Be careful of the local white-faced monkeys who will raid your balcony early in the morning if you leave anything outside! Lots of friendly local iguana as well
The stuff was incredibly nice and eager to help. They were also ready to do an extra service for us (laundry - after one week in Costa Rica we really needed it).
The location, you don’t even need to go to any national park, cause you can see all the animals without leaving the hotel.
The place is still under construction, but it didn’t bother us at all
The location is the best thing about this hotel. 3 minutes walking to the Manuel Antonio National Park and right on the beach. one can not tell from the photos but is is i ok e of the more beautiful beaches and full of life, people tanning, swimming, selling cold coconut water.
the room itself is playin, but clean and comfortable with hot shower.
The bungalows are really nice, huge window with a sea view. Beach is really close and that is hard to come by in Manuel Antonio, as this is rather mountainous region. We even walked to the National Park from the hotel, it's not that far. The staff is very positive and helpful. The drinks in the restaurant are pretty nice as well!
The Hotel is at an unbeatable location, literally next door to the Manuel Antonio national park and 5min walk away from the beach!
The staff was super nice and helpful and solved our room booking challenges in just a couple of minutes! The tour he recommended was also pretty nice with a reasonable price.
We'll be back again!
Breakfast and Dinner was excellent. Some of the best food we had in Costa Rica. I absolutely loved the Curry Red Snapper for dinner.
Great place to see wildlife. We saw more animals in birds at the hotel than we did at Manuel Antonio. Two toed sloth, macaws that arrive every evening around 5 pm. Toucans seen daily.
The hotel has some of the standards you would expect from a hotel of this category: nice staff, good restaurant, beach towels, good housekeeping. The bed was very good and the room was clean. It is nice to relax by their swimming pool, specially after a hot day in Manuel Antonio park.
Manuel Antonio has many mountains.
The location of the hotel close to the park is great. You can also walk to the beach.
Staff was friendly. We could leave our luggage for a late departure.
The room was a great surprise, clean and private (garden view).
Highly recommended!
Beautifully located right on the beach and close to the beautiful Manuel Antonio park. Nice rooms, friendly staff and comfortable beds. Also loved the nice restaurants up in the hills (Anaconda/ Avion) that provide a beautiful panaroma view of the bay and its birds and monkeys.
It is next door to the Manuel Antonio Park. it takes five minutes to walk there. It is also only a few minutes walk to a very nice beach and restaurants. The hotel has a pool where you can relax. Our room was very simple, but clean. The parking was a big plus.
Breakfast service was fast. We had much closer experiences with capuchin monkeys at the hotel than inside Manuel Antonio National Park. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and offered towels to use at the beach.
This hotel is gorgeous. It is about 1 minute from the national park and from the beach.
The room was extremely clean, comfortable and pleasant.
There is a full shared kitchen and a refrigerator inside the room.
Room was quite large with comfortable beds. Easy drive to Manuel Antonio National Park and the beach. Easy walk to Hotel La Luna which had a great rooftop bar for sunset viewing.
