In spite of some not great reviews this hotel as a two star was actually just right. Room was spacious, simple, clean and comfortable with a massive sliding door system onto a glassed in ‘viewing room’ with table and chairs to enjoy a magnificent view out across the mountains and valley. We had a really nice, tasty dinner (way better than many we have had!), completely helpful with our vegan diet. Ideally located in the centre of the village with a comfortable outdoor sunny spot in front of the hotel to have lunch/drinks. Breakfast space also had wonderful views across the mountains. Staff were delightful, particularly Bronislava who we could have chatted to all day! And the very helpful and friendly Reception (possibly manager, forgive us we did not get her name - long red hair) who went out of her way to make sure our vegan needs were covered. So please don’t be put off by the reviews, it‘s not a flash/slick 4 star but was actually nicer in some ways and gave us everything we needed for an inexpensive one night stay to visit the wonderful Troodos Mountains.

Lovely hotel. The room is on the smaller side, but very comfortable and clean. The curtains are particularly beautiful. The balcony is small, but allowed fresh air in. What we appreciated the most was the service. Around 19H a chamber maid came by with a small cake for each one and a card with the following day's weather. The ladies at reception were extremely helpful, one even spoke perfect French. The restaurant staff was efficient, and helped me organise a bottle of champagne and a cake for a birthday. Free parking is available during low season 50 metres away from the hotel. Breakfast was wonderful! There is a chef to prepare what one would like. The eggs benedict were heavenly! It is an excellent departure point to do the Milomeris waterfall, Caledonian waterfall trail and Atalante trail.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming and prepared a great breakfast. The location is in a beautiful stone village with nearby fields of flowers and mountains. Breakfast outdoors by the swimming pool is very tranquil.
The village is picturesque with wonderful photo and hiking opportunies. You can eat where you stay or go to one of the village restaurants. The air is very clean.

A nice rural setting.
A nice rural setting. At the same time easy access to the Troodos, wineries, the village of Omodos. So a nice retreat after a day exploring. Here is even an adviser pay ground in Platres, but I do not think Our hotel was suitable for children.

So beautiful city but go there only if you have a car + and if you love nature and mountains more than beaches. On the road to the hotel there is a beautiful big lake.
To see the waterfall you should pay 5€😂🤦🏻♀️ So no need to spend too much time there.
