Central location, good breakfast. All the basics were provided in the room and in good working order. Binder with day trip ideas available in the room. Free public parking available 5 minutes away by foot, although we had to find it on our own (no suggestions provided by hotel staff). We were allowed to check in at noon although check-in is officially from 2pm. Restaurant directly in the hotel. Small desk in the corner of the room, but not convenient for two people to sit at.

Set amidst a garden with a terrace, the Hotel Parkán offers rooms in a 14th century building 100 metres from the historical town centre; free WiFi access is provided.

Great location, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. We´ve stayed there Sunday-Tuesday, so were lucky enough to be the only occupants at the time. The building itself is beautiful with a lot of history. Breakfast was lovely, with good selection of cold and warm food. Staff and the owner were all so friendly and helpful, couldn´t thank them enough for making the stay so pleasant.

Chalupa Chlum is located near the forest in a quiet neighborhood, is beautifully located. Just 5 km away in small town Volary you can go for shopping or restaurants. In the house there are 5 bedrooms, two bathrooms and one additional toilet. Downstairs there is a large living room with fully equiped kitchen, fireplace, smart TV. There is a barbecue area in the garden and the host provides firewood for both: the fireplace and the grill. Additionally, the host can provide a barrel with 15 liters of home-brewed beer as well as home made yogurt and cheeses as well as honey. From this beautiful house you can make trips to many places in South Bohemia, it is a very convenient location for visiting also some parts od Austria. Would love to come back home there.
