was stationed there in early 1970s so first time back. Not much had changed although nice to see many walk ways now paved or pavers rather than cobblestone thus making it easier for wheelchairs. The new mall is actually very nice and big with many food spots. even has a grocery type store. Ansbach has a nice romantic feel for it.

Small city but a great vibe and a lot of places to grab a bite to eat or a beer. Everything is usually open until 1800/1900. The city is fairly safe and quiet. Favorite places to eat include Wok, Akito, Max+Muh. The mall is very nice but kind of small but it is a small town. Many people walk places or bike.

Lovely small-town hotel, full of character!
Lovely small-town hotel, full of character! It's an old building and all the rooms are different, with unique decorations. The service was very friendly and breakfast, though limited, was very suitable. The rooms were clean and though the building is old, the bathrooms are fully functional. I will return if ever in the area!

The room was spacious and clean. Parking was available onsite and was free. The location was very good, allowing us to walk easily into the downtown for dinner. Although the hotel was under partial renovation, the breakfast was included making the stay a very good value.
