The location is perfect, we could not have asked for a better spot to stay, everything is around you and has such charm, The hotel was quiet and has old school character which we really enjoyed, such things as the low lighting and old stairs that makes a small noise, it is a great little time capsule! The staff are super friendly and breakfast was perfect, please take the time to enjoy the breakfast room with your coffee before taking in the beautiful town, time slows down a bit and its certainly great!

What an amazing place to visit!
What an amazing place to visit! If you want to experience Germany from its natural side, the town and surrounding hills are wonderful for exploring on foot. Step back into history with a walk over the centuries old city wall. Find "secret" pathways too narrow for wheelbarrows. Experience the charm of a medieval looking community steeped in rich history amidst our hectic times--but don't come here if you want to bring those hectic times along!

Very nice town, which was quite suprising for us.
Very nice town, which was quite suprising for us. Alongside the rhein river. Many classical half-timbered houses. Nice surroundings.
Very quiet. Not many (any?) open restaurants on a monday evening (passing through, just for one night).

We found Bacharach via online reviews and recommendations. It was all it was described to be. Beautiful, authentic, less touristed and the locals were extremely friendly. Would recommend a train trip to Bacharach to experience the beautiful views on the Rhine.

It was very quiet, although we expected that it should be high season and therefore busier. It is a beautiful old town and well worth visiting. We were disappointed that KD had cancelled boat trips up and down the river on the day we were there, so there was less to do than we had planned.

For us, Bacharach was a visit to a totally charming village...
For us, Bacharach was a visit to a totally charming village of numerous old homes ( some dating back pre-16th century, yet well-restored and maintained) and cobbled streets.
During our stay, we walked:
- up to the castle above the town - strenuous for us-we are both in our 70s!
- about 3km towards Kalb (sited on the opposite side of the Rhine;
- about 6km up into the hills above Bacharach.
Each of these walks were highlights of our five-day stay.
In summary, we had the benefit of a very comfortable apartment, excellent, thoughtful hosts; combined with a visit to a beautiful town.

Fantastic hotel with lovely, modern rooms and an amazing restaurant. We were lucky to be assigned a room with a sauna in it (I think there is only one) which was a nice surprise. The room itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our short stay. The chef was really personable and came out to speak to us most meals. Parking was convenient - there are about 6 spaces right outside the hotel.
Would highly recommend!
I would not hesitate to recommend Jutta’s wonderful guesthouse. It was spotlessly clean, very nicely laid out, comfortable and in the perfect location right in the center of town and walking distance to everything in Bacharach. The apartment was well stocked and Jutta thought of even the smallest thoughtful detail We will definitely be returning the next time we are here.
A great hotel which we will remember fondly. A more authentic hotel across the road from the Rhine. Had lots of quirky additions in the room which probably were there when it was first built? 81 steps to the top room but worth the view. The manager(?) helped carry our bags up. Don't expect all new but more back in time. Would stay there again. Great breakfast selection.
Wonderful home base for exploring the Rhine! The apartment fit our family of 5 perfectly, and the views from the terrace were amazing. The drive down to Bacharach was quite short, perhaps 5 minutes. It was nice to get away to a quiet hamlet on top of the hill at the end of a long day. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!
Fabulous place to stay fpr bacharach and surrounding area.
Charming, spacious apartment with all the mod-cons. Very Clean & comfortable.
Safe, convenient location.
Friendly, helpful host who waited hours as we were delayed by weather and traffic.

Great breakfast buffet – well above my excpectations (this would be a great breakfast even at a large hotel, but the hotel is small)
Very good location in the centre of Bacharach
Nice, thick pillow

it was so old tradition boutique hotel and clean
- the hosts was helpful and when we went to breakfast it was almost finished but they ask us if we need something and they do it .
The property is beautiful, located on a quaint cobblestone street. A nice, comfortable room close to any where in Bacharach you'd want to go. Short walk from train station.
Rolf went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. The room was very clean and comfortable. Perfect location for Bacharach. Breakfast was delicious! Highly recommended!
Wonderful stay in the perfect location. And with an impressive breakfast. The family running the hotel is kind, caring and goes above and beyond. We can’t wait to go back.
Self check in is handy if you arrive at non business hours, but I received too many messages from the hotel for that.
Location is ok, there is a parking in front of it.
Everything was fantastic a wonderful hotel with lovely staffs. The only thing that we didn't think throughout was our room was on top floor without elevator.
