Bad Salzuflen is a really attractive 'Luftkurort'.
Bad Salzuflen is a really attractive 'Luftkurort'. Its centre has beautiful park area and, of course, the Gradierwerk, where you can stroll and inhale the nearest thing to sea air as you can hope to get in an urban setting. Beautiful shops and attractive layout of the centre, through which a small river runs. There is a good variety of restaurants and it is easy to negotiate the centre on foot.

Bad Salzuflen is a very nice village with a pedestrian center. All the region around is very nice, with many villages also with pedestrian centers and old houses "à colombage". We had no time to try it, but looking at the beautiful landscapes, walking and trekking must be perfect in the area !
Nothing. Our statemant at this hotel was horrible. We paid for 3 nights and we came late on check in cause we came from the other country and we had a long way to drive. When we arrived there wasn’t anyone on the reception, the hotel was locked and they were not answering our phone calls. We were so angry and we paid the room in the other hotel for that night. Next morning they didnt even want to talk about that situation and refusing to give us our money back for that night.
Good parking situation in a garage, validated by the hotel. The room was nice, rather dated but very clean. Mine came with a bathtub and balcony. There were also towels and bathrobes for those who wanted to use the indoor pool or sauna. Staff was excellent, great Service.
Breakfast was an extremely large buffet, lots to choose from. Dinners are either buffet or a la carte at reasonable prices.
The location was great. Very clean. The view from the window on the rooftops above the city amazing. The room was very spacious, especially the bathroom. Overall good value for money. No breakfast possibility, but there are nice cafes and bakeries around.
A fabulous stay in a beautiful hotel. The room and bathroom exceeded our expectations. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast plentiful and delicious. Thank you to this wonderful hotel in lovely Bad Salzuflen for a memorable stay.
