Check-in at 23:00 was no issue, parking close by. The room had a huge living room and a bedroom. All for really good price and including breakfast. There is even a small kids playroom at the reception.

This hotel is centrally situated yet in a quiet location and is in one of the best spots on Germany's biggest island.

- I liked the location. It might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but we liked the free parking and the ability to quickly hop in the car and drive to somewhere on Rügen from this central location right by one of the main roads. If you come to the island for the beaches, it might not be the best choice. - I appreciated my ground floor room with quick access from the car park and the main building where the restaurant is. I also enjoyed the rocking chairs on the shady lawn. - The room was basic, but had everything we needed including an open view over the surrounding, rolling countryside.

The staff was excellent. We asked at least two different people how to get to the white chalk beaches and they were very helpful. Even when we came back for more help they went above and beyond to help us.
