Böblingen is adjacent to a large industrial area but does...
Böblingen is adjacent to a large industrial area but does have a certain amount of character. There seem to be a variety of restaurants, some not currently open because of Covid 19 but we found a good Italian restaurant with plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, well spaced out for Social distancing. We would definitely stop there again for an overnight if on a long drive.

It does have a family atmosphere and the lounge/breakfast area is 'homely'. The town centre location is good for food choices (hotel does not have a restaurant), and there is a local brewery (Brauhaus) that serves food too. I would use this hotel again when I am next in Boeblingen.

Situated in a nice surrounding area with lots of opportunities for hiking around. Rooms are very cosy and in very good condition. Staff is friendly and helpful. The best about the hotel is the restaurant (food). Fantastic German (Swabian) cuisine of exceptional taste and quality. The restaurant is worth a try even if you do not stay for a sleepover at the hotel.
