Wow, the lovely owners go over and above to make their guests feel as though this bed and breakfast is their home. The historic homestead now a Bed & Breakfast, has the most exquisite furnishings. Their beautiful garden and conservatory is for the guests to enjoy. The buffet & freshly cooked breakfast is something to look forward to. In a fabulous location down the street from the famous cathedral, within a few minutes walk of great restaurants, the harbour, cafes and the bus station. Also there is off street parking. We received clear instructions for how to access our room - good thing, because they were necessary. We tried to enter the wrong building at first... Quartier36 gave a very friendly, down-to-earth vibe. More like a social purpose enterprise than a commercial setting, with excellent facilities and beautiful, clean interior. The rooms have access to a shared fridge, and tea/coffee in the room. Our room was quite large, with king-sized bed and a luxuriously large shower. Both bulky and soft pillows were provided, the mattress was on the harder side. There was a decently fast free (open) WiFi, though I'm not certain it was actually theirs...
