Excellent location, lots of restaurants, and beer halls close by. Adjacent to the Rhine River for views and the Rheinwalk. 5 minutes walk to Rathaus and 10 minutes walk to the Dom.

Fabulous staff. Seamless checkin and departure. Catered to every inquiry and request - a kettle, additional pillows, pool towels - with genuine friendliness and promptness.

Wonderful breakfast. High-quality food, huge choice, and some local Cologne delicacies amongst the scrambled eggs, cereals, fruits, etc. The wait staff were helpful, prompt in clearing tables, and very friendly.
Spa area
Swimming in the pool and using the steam bath helped us combat our jet lag. Great facilities.
Our room
We had a triple room ( twin beds and a fold out sofa). It was still a huge space, and housekeeping had catered for all 3 guests (3 towels, 3 mugs,3 glasses, 3 body lotions, etc). This is extremely unusual but indicates the professionalism and high standards of the hotel and the staff.

The ex-Radisson-turned-Best Western. Overall pretty neat, however it’s unfortunate there is no fridge in the room in a 4-star hotel. They stored my food at the reception, but that’s not the most convenient.
The location is good, in a walking distance everywhere. The staff is friendly and the room is very large. No complaints here.
