Even though the room seemed small, it was actually enough for two people. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was great (!!!) and the staff was super nice and polite. We would probably stay again in the same hotel when we visit Hamburg.

Although the hotel is located at a busy street, we couldn't hear any noise. The staff was very friendly and helpful. When we noticed that our bathroom sink was clogged they had it fixed by the time we got back later that day. We loved our stay!

We stayed in Hamburg for two nights so that we could take our grandchildren to Miniatur Wunderland. We found it so easy to travel around the city with the Hamburg Travel Card which we purchased prior to travelling. The Underground was very easy to negotiate and all the trains and stations were reasonably clean. The buses were also easy to use and we found the Rabatzz Indoor Play - well worth a visit if you have children of any age. It is also excellent value for money. We would recommend the Miniatur Wunderland - fantastic for all ages and very family friendly. Its well worth booking in advance as it makes entry very quick.

I love Hamburg. It's such a beautiful city and is easily assessible by foot. The connection from the airport to the city centre is so simple and effortless. Hamburg is a destination I come back to very often.

January is not the friendliest month in Northern Europe,...
January is not the friendliest month in Northern Europe, including Hamburg, but we really had a nice stay. Arrived by plane and train from airport is very easy and very cheap. We found a free online app with a great walking tour (around 13 km) of the town and saw most things worth seeing (not really visiting museums as we only had a few days). I highly recommend the Elbphilharmonie building; it is free to go to their panorama platform - and while you are there: go to the bar on the lower level. They made great cocktails...and so did Bohemian Bar not so far from there. Hamburg is not massive, so easy to get around on foot - and good for your fitness. Be aware that all shops are closed on Sundays (except the central station). I was alone that day as my sister had left and spend the afternoon in the Kunsthalle - almost 3 fantastic hours in the contemporary part. If you have time or bad weather; go there!

We were very pleased with the hotel room, it was clean, the bed was very comfortable and we had a great night sleep. The bathroom and shower was nice.. The hotel is a short walk from the airport and the S Bahn station, getting to Hamburg central was easy, and cheap. We will definitely stay at the Radisson Blu on our next trip to Hamburg.

One of the nicest hotels I've ever been to. Everything was top notch. The room was wonderfully designed and quite cool even though I could not spot a central AC (heatwave). Breakfast that did cost extra 25e was to die for, do not skip it. Just go there if you're staying in Hamburg and have ability to drive around for seeing other places. Elbe river shore was like a 2 km walk away, otherwise it is just a rural small home area.
