A very nicely situated, furnished, and organised guest house. The staff were friendly and the (bath)room was nice. The single bed is also fine for me, given the reduced price. Breakfast in the morning was well prepared, though only starts at 08:00 on the weekends.

If you could imagine a traditional yet modern and comfortable guesthouse in the Black Forest this is exactly it. The couple who run the place are lovely- it's like staying with your friendly aunt and uncle. The views are sublime- you can walk literally 2 minutes up the hill and see right the way across to the snow capped Alps. Good hearty home cooked food and cakes on offer.
Situated on the sunny southern slopes of the Black Forest, this country hotel invites you to pamper your body and mind in the fresh air. Free WiFi access is available.

It’s a great hotel. Very comfortable with attentive staff. Good dinner and breakfast. We walked up the hill from the village, along a track on the right as the houses finish - a gentle climb up to the crest and a view into Switzerland. Then back via the ski drag lift top to Gersbach - 1.5 hours of alpine meadows and skylarks. Descent is by a steep road back to hotel. A great short walk.
This hotel in Schopfheim offers a scenic location in the Black Forest, free Wi-Fi, and wellness facilities. The Swiss city of Basel is 40 minutes away by train.

The staff were super friendly and everything was very clean. You could use a big swimming pool if you had swimmers, which we didn't.😏. The owner kindly organised a taxi to pick us weary walkers up from Hasel and next morning drove us back to where hike continued, very helpful. Thank you.
Dinner was lovely. Breakfast served from 6.30am! Wow.
We had a mixed experience at the Landhotel Erdmannshöhle, which shows the importance of accurate information on the booking site. The hotel is in a good location vis a vis different parts of the Süd Schwarzwald. The fascinating Erdmannshöhle (worth a visit) is around the corner. The rooms are large and the bathrooms enormous and well appointed. The single room came with a nice seating area. However, the beds are not comfortable.
