Opladed is the upmarket bit of Leverkusen- a very nice suberb which feels very safe and friendly. There is a pedestrianised shopping area (most shops being on 2 roads which cross each other) and this has a cosy feel to it rather than a big city atmosphere. There is a good variety of restaurants and other shops. Nostalgically (for us English) there is a large Woolworths! The hotel is only a 2 minute walk from Opladen train (& bus) station. Trains connect to Cologne (going South) and Wupppertal (North). If you want a train to Dusseldorf or Duisburg (e.g. for the Lanschaftspark in my case) you can get the 201 bus (every 20 mins) to the other station in central Leverkusen (Mitte). The hotel room was very nice, with a desk & chair provided for reading etc. For the breakfast buffet they had a nice variety of seeded bread rolls and meats as well as the usual cereals/juices/cheeses.

In my opinion, You go there for either watching football matches in Bayer Arena for doing business with Bayer. Nice small town with cheap but good quality hotels. Nearby cities are Cologne and Düsseldorf.

I visited Köln many times, but it was my first time staying at Leverkusen. Didn't get to see much of it since I spent most of my time in Köln, but it seemed to be a quite and clean area. It had bus station close by 5-8 minutes walk, and also a supermarket which you could walk to 10-15 minutes.

Leverkusen was a lovely city and easy to get to on the train...
Leverkusen was a lovely city and easy to get to on the train from Opladen. Nice sights with the cathedral and river, the traditional food was excellent as was the beer. It is a lively city centre later at night.
The location is perfect. Less than 10 minutes walk to main station, 5 minute walk to Edeka.
The suite is really clean and well decorated.
You will have everything you need for cooking. Overall, Everything that you may need during your stay is provided.
The host was aslo very nice and kind. She gave me directions.
If you want to visit Düsseldorf or Köln, this suit is a very good option . The price is cheaper from hotels in those cities, but the quality is much more better.
This "Single Room with Shared Bathroom" included a lavatory in the room. Just the toilette and shower was outside. The staff was very helpful (EN spoken) and the hotel was quiet. Just 5 min walk from the BayArena (a little bit more to the city center). Possibility to park the car near the hotel (if not possible just in front). Internet connection was OK.
Very friendly, helpful and encouraging. Very good listeners. Very nice building and staircases. Comprehensive breakfast. Made special purchases for my vegan diet. No extra charge. Convenient location for Leverkisen town centre and fairly near to the train station. Probably should be a four star hotel not three.
The location is very close to the Bahnhof, to the supermarkets, restaurants and cafes. The room was very clean and comfortable, there was enough space in the bathroom too. Check in and check out is very easy and the staff answers very quickly, if you need help
This was a great surprise on our road trip. The hotel is obviously a 'company hotel' for Bayer and it's visitors in Leverkusen, but we found it incredibly nice with a superb restaurant and great rooms (newly furbished and large). The staff was very helpful.
The breakfast was awesome and provided a wide variety of hot and cold breakfast food options along with a great coffee machine. The location was great for me and my family as the hotel is only 10 minutes from where our relatives live in Leverkusen.
Nice budget hotel. Access by the code, no need to carry keys or cards. Reasonable price for the hotel room with a private bathroom. Wifi worked well. Quiet location near the bus and train station. Clean towels and bed linen of a good quality.
The Hotel is good, but some notices will be good for the hotel to change it:
The table is too small and I can't use it for my job.
The room was too warm and made me upset really.
The bed was good and the bathroom is good and big enough.
The hotel is very good, Big room, private kitchen place, comfortable bed, close to the stadium, train station and center.
May be somebody will not like the furniture and bed sheets, but the price and conditions were perfect for me.
Rooms were just renovated, very clean and nice room and equipments, included the mini bar drinks, quiet place, just near S-Bahn station Leverkusen-Mitte (20min direct to Cologne city center), personnal very nice
A clean and modern hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Central location for all Leverkusen amenities, including rail links to Cologne.
Modern bathroom with great shower and complementary toiletries.
What I liked the most was the friendliness of the personnel. I believe they have been, in my experience, the kindest I have encountered in Germany. The location is perfect for watching a Bayer match.
Everything was very nice and clean, room was much better and bigger than I expected, the stuff was very nice and friendly. The location of the hotel also very good.
