I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accommodation! The hostel room was simple but clean, and towels were provided. The bathrooms were clean and newly renovated. It was barely a 10 minute walk from the Wittenberg Alt Stadt station. The hotel is mere blocks from the Stadtskirche and Alte Ratshausplazt. It is walkable to all the major sites from the hotel. Staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The single room was very clean and the Wi-Fi worked well. It had a beautiful view of the old town church towers. Breakfast had both hot and cold offerings and of course freshly baked warm Brotchen (like small baguettes) coffee, tea, juice. I would recommend Hotel Pension Schwanenteich to solo travelers who don't mind carrying luggage from public transportation.
