Beautiful and a nice place to hang around. I cycled along the river Elbe, and took lots of photos of the city. The weather was good, with sun shine and blue sky, so the view was perfect. I suggest people can walk/cycle along the river, from Cathedral to Jahrtausendturm, just be enjoy the cozy. The Cathedral has a total different view b/w days and nights, so go there twice!

Magdeburg is a lovely city but there isn't too much to do/see there. You might want to visit for a day or two but it's not too spectacular. If you get there visit the Hundertwasserhaus.

Interesting city. Clean with nice places to eat - especially pan asian. Seems incredibly quiet and almost like two extra floors were built on every buiding that weren't needed. Very beautiful and historic city. It was especially beautifully decorated for the Christmas season and had an amazing Christmas market! Very goood restaurants, hotels, shopping and easy to navigate with the trams and buses. I’lll be back!

Interesting mixture of the old and new. The Stadtpark was a good contrast and a great view of the city from the top of the Albin-Müller-Turm. Easy to eat out. Slightly disappointed by the "number 1 attraction", the Grünen Zitadelle. Would have liked to take the tour, but it was only available in German so decided it was too expensive.HowardUnited Kingdom

The rooms are a bit small, but we knew that ahead of time. We had our rental car and parked in the 'round the corner' garage which had a door directly up one flight (or there is an elevator from the garage) right into the hotel lobby. The location was very convenient as the Old Town square is right there, the cathedral is nearby, and it was a quiet area. We didn't have the breakfast so no comment there. Good place to stay and location was easy.

It is definitely a cool and unique hotel, especially if you are a Hundertwasser fan. The bathroom is really cool. Friendly staff and good breakfast even though quite expensive. Travelling with a dog, we got into the room to find a bowl of food ready for her which is very thoughtful. I booked a room with a balcony but it is more like a shared terrace than a balcony so not private. The rooms on the other side without balcony seemed funkier and a big bigger.
