Waterfront area is hyped as a great place to hang out but wasn't really much. The Altstadt is unremarkable. Walked down the main pedestrian street in the evening and felt that it was now just a place for people to ride scooters and hang out. Not very pleasant. Nice parks and restaurants by the riverside. Don't miss Camera obscura and Aquarius wassermuseum. There is cinemas in mall attached to the train station but they only screen german or dubbed into german movies

Mullheim is mostly a commuters town.
Mullheim is mostly a commuters town. It does not offer much by itself. Our primary reason to stay here was to save money but it turned out it wasn't exactly cheap to say the least. You also need to realise that on Sundays almost everything is closed.

Reaching the hotel, gives a nice, modern and clean impression. The gent at the reception will open the door for you and will carry your bags to your room. Once entering the room, same nice, modern and clean impression. “I will have a good night sleep here”, I thought. All nice and shiny until this point.
