It's a small town away from the busy city centre of Dusseldorf. Its a town that is full of its own history and heritage. English not commonly spoken here but they will understand you. A town that is full of arts & culture such as "CLEMEN SELS MUSEUM & CHURCH"..if its something that you are looking for. Transportation coverage is quite good.
A town that has both cultural and modern amenities to look for.
Culturally; there are museums and famous old buildings that you can see. Modern...there are places that you can shop such as a mall and some shops that offer products at an affordable pricing. Bring your own bag to keep the stuff you bought as no bags are given for your purchase.
Its very quiet on SUNDAYS with 90% of the shops and malls are closed. Just few eateries that is open and probably will be closed by about 4pm on sunday. Most days..the town will come alive around 10am and sleeps by 5pm. So plan your day there well.
Do look out for the clock songs that will play in the afternoon. there are 2 buildings that has a clocks with bells that sings & rings.
I tried some pastry at this "OEBEL CAFE". i tried the bacon&egg sandwich ...and its tasty.
Just like any other city's or town that you go too; you got to be careful with your belongings.

The hotel is in the middle of an industrial estate however this didn’t spoil a thing because the local train station is only 4 minute walk and once on the train it’s only 9 minutes to Düsseldorf once here you can walk to the old town in about 25 minutes which is very nice

I would not stay there again.
I would not stay there again. The good thing about the Crowne Plaza was the price and the friendly staff. There is nothing around the hotel...one mall, but not the shops you really want. You have to travel to Dusseldorf if you want to get a decent meal.

also lovely walk (or bike ride) along the river Rhine
I met with owner and she was extremely friendly and took time to show me how all appliances worked.
Then unit itself was very spacious and clean and filled with top quality appliances. The location was brilliant for staying inside Neuss as had a large shopping centre just down the street where you could buy whatever was needed and to walk to station stop for train is about 10-15 minutes.
The apartment itself was incredible though!!
The room was renovated and nicely furnished, mod cons like hairdryer and kettle were in good condition and worked well.
Breakfast was lovely, lots of options.
Breakfast and front desk staff are really great, friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make the stay nice and the time spent in the hotel comfortable. We stayed for three day and it was the same every morning. really nice atmosphere.
The size of the room was good and the furniture looked like new. The staff was very friendly and breakfast had everything you could want. Value for money is excellent and from the main station you can reach the place even on foot in about 20 minutes, if you don't have too much luggage to carry. As there isn't really any traffic around the hotel, the place is also rather quiet.
We loved the vibe and atmosphere of the hotel. It felt like you were in a ski resort in the mountains. Great for a quick getaway. Loved how we were able to watch our kids practice snowboarding on the small slope while sitting in the comfortable lounge area.
I booked the wrong date and when I came to the reception they told me my dates are next month. Fortunately, they were able to help me and change the reservation for me! By the way, there is a big mall behind the hotel you can walk to, very close!
Very affortable hotel at a good quite place near Düsseldorf. Enough parkingspace. Very friendly staff! It's a new hotel, former officebuilding, just opened up. Rooms are good aswell. Simple with all you need.
