We chose this hotel to be close to Munich and easily accessible to the airport, which it is via taxi or bus. Charming historic property that was once the village post office and guest house. Great value, free internet. Breakfast is available for an extra charge (we did not eat breakfast due to our travel plans).

All in all, none too great.
All in all, none too great. Our booking couldn't immediately be found and the receptionist's command of both German and English was poor. The first room offered had not been serviced - it suggested that the previous occupants had just left. On complaining, the second room was better, but the window couldn't be closed.
I will not be using this chain again.

Actually spent very little time in Oberding.
Actually spent very little time in Oberding. Used it more as a base to explore the wider area, and in this respect it was great. Erding town was quite enjoyable. I look forward to coming back and being able to spend more time exploring.

the few hours I spent there (overlay between 2 planes) was too long as there is nothing to see or do. The village itself is very well kept, but there were no people to be seen anywhere. Like a ghost village. two restaurants appeared to be closed (they were open, but not inviting or wanting to invite guests). A brisk 30 minute walk allows you to make full circle around the hotel, sports terraine, into the village past the church back to the hotel and not a place one would linger about. A pity. Could be a nice retreat.

Great location to reach Munich airport, take a walk in a quiet area and enjoy a wonderful meal at the hotel along with good beverages.
Love Hotel Alte Post and the service, cleanliness and outdoor garden to eat in when weather cooperates. Indoor dining is great as well.

Nice small town, took a bus really easy. got the day pass so we could use the bus round trip or other sites .We went to Erding where they are famous for their Beer ,Lots of small shop ,markets and restaurants ,.We got our shopping for small gifts done there.
We ate at the Erdinger Restaurant ,beer garden. The bus takes you for about a 20 minute ride and you get off at the Banhof and you can go other directions with same ticket
Short bus ride to and from Munich airport. Although this small hotel is dated, everything was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Street facing rooms can carry street traffic noise from this tiny village. The on-site restaurant came to life at 5pm with locals and guests. It was run by a great team and provided a wonderful German style dinner … even if we couldn’t read the ornately scripted menu. Hildegard is a thoughtful caretaker and kindly kept a bag for me while we traveled. This is not a fancy place. Just comfortable.
The location is perfect if you need to relax/sleep during a layover at Munich Airport.
We arrived very late so the shuttle was no longer working, but the taxi was 17€. The next morning we took the shuttle, the bus stop is just 3' away from the hotel and we got to the terminal in 10 minutes, super convenient :)
The front desk staff was efficient and helpful.
Very friendly staff! Clean and comfortable room, new bathroom. Close to the airport. Would stay there again!
If you use the shuttle tell the driver you want to get out at the Atomis hotel. That's just about 100m across the street or they drop you off further away! If you have a lot of luggage better get an Uber.
Nice location. Clear instructions from hotel for airport shuttle which is easy and quick. Nice rooms with all
knotted pine decor. Room had everything you need—comfortable bed and great shower pressure. Bar and restaurant onsite and open till late. Friendly staff. Great value for overnight at Munich airport
Hotel is very reasonable and my room was great. Extremely clean and comfortable. No problem checking in late. Location is very easy to get to. Bus 512 from Terminal 1 takes you to 150m from the entrance and costs 3.90e each way and takes approx 15mins. Timetable is easy to download or use Moveitapp.com!
Great hotel and very conveniently located next to the shuttle station to the airport. Uber/taxis are extremely expensive to the airport. Would definitely stay again if I need to choose a hotel next to the airport.
Cozy yet modern hotel with an amazing staff. Very modern rooms and comfortable beds. Snacks available for late arrival. Amazing breakfast buffet. Great location at a great price. Quintessential Bavarian hosts!!
Location was excellent with a shuttle to the airport. Staff was very considerate and the amenities for snacks were available 24/7 and included a very early morning breakfast. Could not ask for a better hotel.
Location was good in the sense that it was 10 mins by bus to airport, from wheres8 and s1 train line was running regularly. The hotel is based in Oberding/Schwaig village. Room was good size.
The hotel as such is very good. There are ample facilities, the sauna is pretty nice and the size of the rooms is above average. Beds are large and clean and the noise isolation is good.
Great location, walking distance to Munich airport hotel. We stayed here as we were flying on honeymoon early the next day and were surprised with Prosecco and chocolates in the room.
