Schonach is a very good place to stay if all the hotels in...
Schonach is a very good place to stay if all the hotels in Triberg are full. It is not particularly pretty and has little to commend it other than its convenience for Triberg and other very pretty places. The local Church has a beautiful interior and is well worth a visit. Just off the road on the way down to Triberg is a walk in cuckoo clock which is fun. This comment refers to summertime. There may be much more to commend it in the skiing season.
