An absolutely beautiful city. Very easy to walk around. The castle and grounds are majestic. Lots of interesting places. Do a lake tour as well as a city tour. If you are here on the weekend, you may need to reserve at a restaurant.

The apartment was in a very central area of the old town and just a short walk to the Schloss which was very interesting with beautiful gardens on the lake. Lieblingsnest apartment was very comfortable and well equipped but the bedroom was very cramped and had too little airflow. It really needed a ceiling fan. There were too many doors for such a small space.

Unexpectedly beautiful city. A lot of old and well kept houses, and a very extravagant castle. Unfortunately not all of the city is well kept, but the overall impression is good. There are several nice restaurants, and the Christmas market is very nice. The city also have a lot of shopping opportunities, including shopping centers. Beware that the shopping centers have very few elevators and toilet facilities.

Great city to relax a bit. The lake is nice and also the city and the castle were a super cool visit. Many shopping and restaurant options. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to detach a bit from the etic lifestyle of the city. Would stay between 1 and 3 days.

The hotel was rather quirky being painted in garish colours and having various items of memorabilia which seemed to have at best tenuous connections with it. Staff were helpful and friendly. The room and bathroom were clean and well-presented. Reliable and easy-to-access wifi. I did not take breakfast (early train) but enjoyed a rather nice pizza in the restaurant in the evening.

Specially the room with the balcony is a gem to enjoy the view of the town. But if you have a car, the navigation cannot find the right direction to this hotel because there are a lot of one way traffic roads and narrow alleys. And the parking lot is in a very hidden place.
