Hotel very good, excellent location and food very good however quite expensive for what you get.
The hotel staff was not friendly and did not put any effort into. During diner this was observered by various guests in the restaurant.
Once again, facility, food and service good, however staff should be informed to be more Friendly as this is part of their job.

We booked the hotel for one night to be near a local attraction. The hotel is in a quiet location with excellent facilites and a very helpful and accommodating host. Bed and pillow were comfortable, room was modern and clean and breakfast was very good with freshly cooked hot foods on request. Free parking on site made it very easy. Our host sourced and booked a restaurant for dinner and provided much appreciated advice on parking at our museum destination.

Clean hotel, near the tram station, easy to go to Basel. There is the parking underground, for free. The breakfast is very good, not so breed like in 4-5 star hotels but enough and fresh and delicious. We were really surprised that there were bio products and gluten free bread. And delicious coffee.
Dating from 1548, this elegant hotel in Weil am Rhein offers widely appreciated cuisine and easy access to the cultural highlights of the French, German and Swiss country triangle.
Hotel-Restaurant Axion is 5 minutes from Basel and 10 minutes from the airport. The nearby train station brings you to Basel in 10 minutes and there is a bus stop right outside the hotel.

Brilliant place by the German/ Swiss/French border- its a busy place with great access to the major highways and a hub of public transport. It has a large Turkish community which is thriving with lots of Turkish restaurants, eateries, grocery stores and really nice shisha bars. Shopping is great and youre amongst nature with the greenery around you. You have the new Galleria mall as well as the other great shopping places.

Very busy shopping center.
Very busy shopping center. Various eating places spread around. Industrial zone., Two good Kebab places plus a boring McDo where finding P is easy. Normal Lidl. Quite a nobody place to compare with major German citities and towns. Why I do not know. Too close to Switzerland?

A place close to Rhein and Basel.
A place close to Rhein and Basel. Popular shopping place for people living in Switzerland. Industrial zone. One or two decent hotels. Next to Autobahn. Does not appear to be touristic, but I only stayed in industrial zone. Most of Germany in this region is beautiful with a lot of agriculture.

Despite its train station being under construction and having a somewhat unappealing business district, Weil am Rhein offers conveninet access to the Vitra Campus and a small Altstadt area. My wife and I enjoyed an informal, outdoor pizza dinner hosted by Ali, the friendly and welcoming manager for Yusuf's restaurant on Hauptstrasse.

Location of hotel is perfect for visiting Basel, tram stop at the front of hotel brings you in 10 min to the centrum of Basel. There is big shoping center across the street and many reaturants at the walking distance. Breakfast was very good, coffee tasty and enough choice of food, staff friendly, room and bathroom is small, but very clean. Free private parking. In short - very good value for money.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Victoria in Weil am Rhein. The hotel was conveniently located, offering easy access to local attractions. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding a personal touch to the overall experience. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well-appointed, making my stay there quite pleasant.
The reception was helpful. The room was nice and clean, it didn't have a great view from the window but it was no problem for me. From the hotel you could easily go the center by the tram number 8, but be aware that the BaselCard is not given by the hotel because it is in the Germany part of Basel.
Great hotel in a nice location to access restaurants (sadly the hotel restaurant was closed the night we were there) and very convenient for catching a morning flight from the Basel airport. Happily, the church bells change from ringing the quarter hour to only ring the hour after 10pm.
The room was spacious and well equipped. Close to Basel and supermarkets. We particularly loved the breakfast. Huge variety of warm and cold food. The staff were also very nice and helpful. Most importantly, this is one of the very few hotels that offers free apples for its guest. ❤️
Really loved the location of the hotel, it is situated next to a river bank and in a mall.
It is located in Germany, yet very close to the swiss border.. So the prices of room and other things in general were pretty economical.
- Location of the hotel and the kindness of the personnel were the best.
- On the balcony (perhaps I should write “terrace” instead) you can have a barbecue party with half a dozen people!
Location - Nearby local attractions.
Breakfast - Tasty and a wide range of food and beverages available.
Hotel restaurant - Good Greek food and reasonably priced.
Free parking onsite.
Nice hotel in quiet neighborhood of Weil am Rhein. The room is better than in the photos, the bed is very comfortable and has everything you need. Eveline and Danny are excellent hosts!
