Aalborg has a nice and modern city center for shopping, eating out or a walk along the water front. Even cruise ships anchor here. There are several parks and recreational area's with a pleasant atmosphere: The zoo, harbour area, Sauna's with a view over the water and nearby island.
The city is well equiped with cycling track and you should definitly explore the town by bike. The center was not to busy , so enjoy walking around as well.

Very continental European.
Very continental European. The old part of the city has a medieval charm to it. The city was really clean. I think it is perfect for a weekend trip. (For LGBT travellers QBar is definitely the place!)

Nice touristic place to spend a couple of days and use as a stay location for excursions to other locations (especially in the north and west regions). A lot of night clubs, theaters for performances, good restaurants and interesting parks like the music one.

Aalborg is a great town to visit, it has a lot to offer for someone looking for a short city break.
Bars, restaurants, waterfront and multiple cultural things to see is great - and with a 15 min. taxi ride from the airport - this town is a great get-away!

My stay in Aalborg was short, so I saw only few places but the city made a very good and friendly impression. I highly recommend the waterfront area, the Kunsten Museum of Modern Art and Almen Kirkegard ( a beautiful cemetery park).
The location was very central and close to train and bus stations. The breakfast was tasty and the staff was always wearing a smile. Even though the hotel was on the party street, the windows were thick enough to block the noise out for a good night's sleep.
Even though my check-in was very late due to some problems on the flight, the procedure was uncomplicated and I still could enter my room.
The apartment is great, with tons of character. The living room is inviting, making a stay even more enjoyable. Even though the property is on a main road, near to a bridge; it remains very quiet throughout the day. There is a stellar bakery, Breads by Kaerup, just down the road, close to the Aalborg Vestby stop (the closest to the property). They had outstanding morning pastries and coffee.
Everything was great! I checked in very late and because it's an unmanned hotel, it wasn't a problem with receptionists. The room was very cozy and clean, there was a table and a wardrobe. It wasn't too hot to sleep in there even though it was winter and most hotels would set the thermostats to 30°. No complaints on my side.
Clean, comfortable hotel with a nice breakfast. Well located for walking to places of interest. Quiet, despite being on main roads. Friendly, helpful staff. Received a free room upgrade and early check in, which was appreciated. Love that it is a not-for-profit, yet with excellent presentation and service.
The place is clean, quiet, big enough, very well located in the city center with a restaurant right next to you. It looks exactly like the pictures.
Staff was very helpful with the internet issue we had.
You have enough pans to cook your own meals.
Very good price for Aalborg.
the property was amazing. It has good parking, a nice trail to walk your dog, the reception area has a nice lounge, if the weather is good they have several outside lounge areas and a large garden behind the hotel. Bus stop was close by. The br
The hotel is beautiful and clean, room was big enough, bathroom very nice with also a bathtub. What I liked most was the staff, they were very nice with us, also allowing us to use the breakfast room and facilities even though we were late!
Location was great. Just outside the city center of Aalborg, in Nørresundby.
Beds comfy, big rooms, clean and great parking just outside the hotel.
And the young woman who met us with a big smile in the reception was just great!
The hotel is dog friendly, the room very clean and nice and the breakfast was really good. Also, the hotel beds were ones of the best that we ever had.
Despite the central location in Aalborg, it was really quiet at night.
Excellent beds. Great breakfast (don't be fooled by your first impression). Great value for money. Quiet and friendly hotel. The name of the place is perfect. I didn't sleep so well in years. The location is not bad either.
The hotel is SUPER central and the staff very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is good and the room cozy, comfortable and has everything you need. Some people mentioned small, I did not see any problems.
NICE AND CLEAN HOTEL. VERY COMFORTABLE CONNECTED ROOMS FOR PARENTS AND CHILDREN. PRICE-QUALITY RELATION WAS VERY GOOD FOR DENMARK, I SUGGEST THIS HOTEL.
