The property is a lovely barn conversion with tasteful and homely decor. Elise is a very friendly host, we also loved meeting her pretty cat. We liked having access to the lounge space and coffee machine, it made us feel at home.

We went to Billund for Legoland and Lego House but found the town very accessible and charming. Everything was a short walk away, on paved pathways separate from traffic. There are so many accessible play structures and places to explore.
Eating options were a bit limited, so plan ahead. We went to Atami (all you can eat sushi served by robots) and did a grocery store picnic one night.

Two nights in Billund was plenty to see LEGO House.
Two nights in Billund was plenty to see LEGO House. Our kids were too old to see LEGOland so staying town in was preferable. Good dinners both evenings at local restaurants. Bus to Copenhagen was a breeze, just be sure to book far in advance.

Drinks are very expensive.
Drinks are very expensive. Go to the supermarket and take with you. Resturants charge 35 (£3.50) for tap water. The playline is a fun way to get children walking to each place. Everything is within a 30min walk. Free WiFi in legoland and lalandia. Resturants in town are really not worth the money. The family buffet in legoland was worth the money. Amazing food, free drinks and coffee and ice cream. Lalandia have evening entertainment, so if you are staying in a basic room. I reccomend going there in the evening. You can get a decent meal, soft play is open till 9.30pm (£6 pp) bowling, mini golf, rock-climbing, alpine coaster, singers and stage entertainment.

Legoland was brilliant. We spent two days in the park.
Legoland was brilliant. We spent two days in the park. Friday was during term time so was quiet with no queues. Saturday was very busy.
My kids were at a good age 13 & 8. They were able to gon on everything. They are strict with the height restrictions.
Lalandia Resort is also worth going to situated right across the road from Legoland.
Billund is relatively small and you can walk to most places.
Buses run regularly but some are cash only. They will take euro.
Under 12s travel free.
Mamas restaurant was lovely as was the gastropub in Billund.
We liked the Barrel accommodations. We experienced much rain while visiting and found the tight quarters comfortable. The bathrooms were adequate, but we felt there could be more bathroom facilities for the number of barrels, cabins, RVs, tents, etc. The restaurant was what we expected, sub-par for adults, perfect for children.
Walking distance to Legoland. The bus shuttle between Legoland, the airport, and the town was good. It could run more frequently during the summer months. We would stay here again.
Great walk to Legoland and Lalandia.
Good outdoor space to enjoy the sun and good quality air.
The lady of the house (Mrs. Thora) was very nice and helpful. Received our luggage before check-in hour as we had a morning flight.
Authentic location, good to complement the thematic experiences with a danish accommodation - big building was from 1926, guest book from 1985.
Clean.
Good set-up both indoor and the terrace.
Safe.
The hotel is in a fabulous location right in the centre of Billund within easy reach of Legoland and across the road from the Lego House. It is really nicely decorated and beautifully clean. We had a fabulous room in the attic with dormer window and a modern, clean bathroom. It was a superb size with tea/coffee making facilities.
The location was great. Short walk from the Lego house where you can also catch the shuttle bus to all of the main local attractions, including the airport. Legoland and Lalandia were a 20 minute walk. It's also next door to a supermarket. There is also wifi and a washing machine, but no powder or drying rack
There is lots provided to keep children entertained. The location is very peaceful but also just outside Billund and Legoland. Good amenities provided for arranging own food and drink. I also think it is very good value for Denmark which is an expensive country for tourists.
Great location to chill after Legoland. Amazing playground with zip line and many other attractions! Clean rooms, comfy kitchen, nice hosts. Absolutely lovely area, nice 45-minutes hike from the airport (or few minutes with a bus).
The house is in a Great location. Not far from the airport and everything else is within walking distance. Lego House was 5 mins away, shops and restaurants also a 5 min walk and 25 mins to Legoland and Lilandia.
Location really close to Legoland and close enough to the airport (you can safely get there simply walking, which works perfectly should you have an early morning flight). The room is big and clean enough.
Lego themes, activities for kids and location right in front of the Legoland. Apart from that - regular hotel with regular quality but three times more expensive. You pay for the immersion to Legoland.
We arrived at the hotel early morning after 10 hours delay on our flight to Billund. We had some issues to tackle with, which the staff solved in an excellent way which we are very thankful for.
the property was perfect. only 5 minutes away from the airport, over the road from legoland. amazing activities, the property was so clean and tidy and comfortable (just didn’t have a tin opener)
Location is great, close to legoland and waterpark, even airport is a walking distance, though there is a free shuttle both directions. In motel territory is a lot of stuff to do for the kids.
nice, clean, wide offer at breakfast, like the swimming pool. walking distance from Legoland, Lalandia, bus stop from airport (7 minutes), LegoHouse (20 minutes).
