It is worth to try the local "Uber", which is called inDrive app. Using this app wan can move much more freely within the city. ONe can set the target (like the must see places, and the app will show the suggested fare, distane, and drivers start to offer their ride. You can accept any of them. Cheapest may not be the best selection, because in Egypt most if the inDrive cars are not in their best shape.

Hurghada Marina is beautiful , definitely worth a trip , we used Ubers as it was a lot cheaper than hotel taxis . If you are interested in any boat trips please book in the Marina , a lot cheaper than using the hotel reps . We visited Paradise island ! Wow it was so beautiful and definitely worth £20 per adult £10 per child. I found hotel prices for trips and shops aimed at the tourist very expensive . Please venture out of the hotel to purchase anything. We will definitely be returning to Hurghada.

We stayed in Sahl Hasheesh which is about a 30 mins drive from Hurghada town. Sahl Hasheesh is a purpose built resort, (actually still being built with lots of partly finished buildings), it was quiet which suited us with a gorgeous beach. Hurghada is the perfect place for an all-inclusive stay with sun and beach. I would recommend all-inclusive as depending on where your hotel is, it's likely there won't be any nearby restaurants. A lot of the hotels seem to have water parks. If you want to do some exploring I'd recommend a day trip (at least) to Cairo and Luxor.MelishaUnited Kingdom

The roof area was very nice, with a bar and table tennis as well the pool. The lobby- with nice sitting area - had the best music I've ever heard in a hotel (I'm a musician!). The Tour desk was very helpful with very good prices ( don't waste your time looking elsewhere on Hurghada!)- I was very pleased with the excellent value of the Tour I took.
