I liked that it was quiet, I had the diving centre in the hotel, so I booked all my trips with them and I also appreciated that the village (Marsa Alam is just a village) is safe and allowed me to see the life of locals.

Jaz Amara, hotel in Marsa Alam City

Facing the beachfront, Jaz Amara offers 5-star accommodation in Marsa Alam City and features a garden, terrace and restaurant.

Beautiful resort! This was my first all-inclusive trip and my first time visiting Egypt. I was initially hesitant - I usually enjoy exploring new places and immersing myself in the local culture, but I was pleasantly surprised. The resort was brand new and absolutelystunning. I believe I got a great deal as it was still attracting new customers - I would have been willing to pay double for this accomodation. Great quality food and it was varied. Some people may mention ongoing construction in the area, perhaps this is because the same hotel group owns the entire bay and is currently working on a new resort in the middle. I personally did not see any construction taking place at this resort and it didn’t affect my stay in any way.

    my ultimate happiness.

my ultimate happiness. I can stay there forever. all the quietness on earth is there. it is a very calm city for those who are looking for that. people are so friendly and respectful. it is the ideal place to connect with nature. Abudabbab beach is the best place there to swim, relax, and snorkeling. Porto Ghalib also is a very good place to eat clean and good food with almost daily entertainment shows and performances.

Masa Alam is a hot, dry and dusty town on the edge of the red sea. There is nothing there for tourists. I'm sure there is a restaurant somewhere. I stayed at my hotel and ordered food to be delivered. The only reason i was there was because thats where the scuba dive boat leaves from. Since then i found out the dive boat operator will pick you up pretty much anywhere, even Hurgada. See if you can find a place in Hurgada and have the boat operator pick you up there, or take a private taxi to Masa Alam.

While far away from Hurghada, the main airport, about 4.5 hours drive, the coast around Marsa Alam is clearly wilder here with with much more sea life than further north, so definitely worth it for a more 'water safari' experience. For transfers, I recommend 123 Taxi & Tours Hurghada, a top taxi company with great prices, where you can arrange everything by WhatsApp before you travel https://www.123taxihrg.com/

Greatest place in Egypt for snorkeling/diving in my opinion.

Greatest place in Egypt for snorkeling/diving in my opinion. Very quiet city, and most resorts are actually away from the city so don't expect anything outside of your resort (check your distance). Most resorts provide what you'd need anyway. Perfect for people looking to relax or looking for boat trips. Tough to get to but worth the ride.

The hotel is very big and therefore you never have too much people around. The acquaparc is fantastic, and the staff working there is so friendly, my kids loved them ! All the staff was very attentive to our needs. Animation is soft, you have a lot of activities but never feel stressed to take part. You can move aroung by bus or with fantastic tandem bikes put together (for 4-6 people) . A very great idea that we enjoyed very much and made our stay funny and comfortable. Restaurants are great, food is good and varied.

Well located and designed with spacious, modern and very pleasant lobby with live music. Large rooms with small annex for 1or 2 beds for kids. Separated, shallow pool for kids. Splash area for kids in the hotel - and aqua park (included) just 5-7min walk for older. Generally very good facility if you travel with small kids (up to 6-7 yrs). Helpful and pleasant staff. Great advantage - large, heated pool for all - very important in April and May. Very nice terrace bar with beautiful sea view.

The property is huge and brand new so everything is very well maintained and gives you alot of options. The pools were heated properly and we really enjoyed swimming in January. The staff are more than friendly and always looking to make your stay comfortable. Mr. Haytham from the hotel was very generous and upgraded our rooms to royal family suite. We are a family with two kids.

This was my favorite place in Egypt. Fadi and Saleh will shower you with kindness. I came as a guest and left as family. I can’t even begin to count the magical moments I had here. The facilities are simple with just two restaurants in the area, but it’s the love of the staff is what makes the place. I’d come back for sure just to dance to great music under the full moon.

Nice, comfortable and cheap guesthouse but the best thing by far was the staff who went above and beyond. There was a statewide blackout for 24 hours during our stay and the owner came down from Cairo to make sure everyone was comfortable, including bringing water and cold drinks from hotels generators and taking us all out for dinner. Incredible hospitality!

Our experience here was outstanding. When we got there, we had a confusion with the booking, which was our fault, and the hotel manager got out of his way to help us. He even offered us a romantic dinner at the beach to make our experience better. It is undoubtedly the best attention we have ever received in a hotel
