The reception staff (Abdel Fatah and Mohamed) were very welcoming and helpful when I arrived, and upgraded me to an apartment overlooking the Marina, so I had a beautiful view of the boat activity, and actually enjoyed the singing from a club below- noisy, yes, but a great vibe. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate for me, and the waiter (Amr) made sure that I had everything I needed. The beach was close by, and there was easy access directly to a vibrant coral reef, which was far more colourful than I expected. What's not to like?!

Wonderful time in the hotel and all facilities.
Everything is clean, and all staff (waiters, reception, room service) are very nice and helpful.
The hotel has everything for every guest.
Great food, many dishes are done "on the fly" (straight from the pan). There is a good variety of dishes. Wonderful coffee (made by staff from the espresso machine).
Aquapark facilities are in very good condition, a lot of fun using them.
"Salty" pool - nice experience.
A la carte restaurants (Cardamom, Tagine) - very tasty and pleasant.
Great time, our family enjoyed it a lot.

Beautiful resort! This was my first all-inclusive trip and my first time visiting Egypt. I was initially hesitant - I usually enjoy exploring new places and immersing myself in the local culture, but I was pleasantly surprised. The resort was brand new and absolutelystunning. I believe I got a great deal as it was still attracting new customers - I would have been willing to pay double for this accomodation. Great quality food and it was varied.
Some people may mention ongoing construction in the area, perhaps this is because the same hotel group owns the entire bay and is currently working on a new resort in the middle. I personally did not see any construction taking place at this resort and it didn’t affect my stay in any way.

Port Ghalib was a small port town that has transformed into a touristic place. Not much to see, a nice marina and a small promenade. Famous restaurant/club "Hakuna Matata", led by Polish owners, attended by known artists and bands - worth coming by. Few cafeterias and souvenir shops and that's all.PawełPoland - 10Scored 10
after dinner is nice to take a walk to the port and stop...
after dinner is nice to take a walk to the port and stop to drink at the bars. enjoy the nice climate and and listen music. visit the many shops along the inner streets. where you can find parfums souvenirs of every kinds. all people you meet are sociable but non intrusive, the walk is always pleasantly interrupted by these stops in which the various products are offered in a kind way.

To resume those wonderful 7 days in Port Ghalib Marina...
To resume those wonderful 7 days in Port Ghalib Marina Resort, I would say it felt like home. The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times, the room was tidy and clean every day, provided with very good food options, the space at the reception is gorgeous specially at evenings before dinner with live music. I will definitely go back. The beach with the coral was so amazing to me, that I couldn’t get out of the water to enjoy the rest of the resort, such as the swimming pool, gym and other facilities. I felt part of the family at the “Wonderful Dive”. A big shout out to some members of the staff: Ibrahim from the reception, Fahzer at the towel desk at the beach always so careful, Antonio from the Italian restaurant, and so many more who showed professionalism, kindness and dedication in the past week. I see you all very soon. :)

Large and beautiful hotel.
Large and beautiful hotel. Public spaces, pool, bars, restaurant look gorgeous and luxurious. Food is OK compared to other Egyptian hotels. Rooms are spacious and clean. Very close to the Marina complex with some shops, bars and restaurants. Room was nice, clean and a good size. Softer pillows were provided on request. Cleaned well every day. Drinks - alcohol; spirits of poor quality so stuck to (very weak) cocktails, wine which was just ok and beer which varied in quality. Fresh squeezed orange juice and good coffees available for breakfast. Food was ok, a wide choice although little different from one restaurant to another. Pools good, beach ok for sunbathing and paddling but for several days plagued by sandflies - not the hotel's fault but we had to abandon the beach for two days as they were quite bad. Staff were good making a real effort to be friendly and helpful. Reps selling spa treatments and trips were too persistent, and the line "where are you from?" became very old!FraserFrance

The beach is beautiful and the water is crystal clear. It has it’s own Marina/pier with 3 different areas to snorkel, 1 of them is deep and suitable for diving. The pier has wooden stairs which was exactly what we were looking for. The Reefs and the fish are simply out of this world. Food is excellent and the variety is amazing. The animation team was awesome and provided nice shows. The staff are professional and friendly.

The hotel is conveniently located as it is close to the airport. We also got a free room upgrade which was nice, even though I would have preferred a big double bed instead of 2 small doubles. The food was good but it could have a bit more variety. We enjoyed the traditional Egyptian food and I would have loved to see more of that.
