The room was clean, comfortable, and big. The bathroom was clean. Every day was cleaning. The hotel location is perfect if you have car. The staff was kind, and helpful. I would like to mention the owner of the hotel who helped with the service in the morning. He was very attentive.

Very friendly town. Recommend a guided tour to include the dolmens - we booked a combination tour of walking the town, visiting a chapel and a short ride in a 'micro bus' to the dolmens.
Buy cakes and pastries from a convent. Spend an evening in Bar Lola next to Plaza Coso Viejo for excellent food, friendly service and great atmosphere.
Antequera is an easy 45-minute drive from Málaga airport, so it's a great place to spend a couple of nights before heading off to explore Andalucía. Lots of free parking.

Antequera is a pretty town with a big church and castle. Also, you can visit dolmens (in the town) and El Torcal hiking area (nearby, some 20km maybe). The town seemed cozy during workdays and quite busy on Saturday with many people cruising the streets.

Antequera is a beautiful place with loads of churches and elaborate buildings. I could have done with another day here at least. I also never got to sample the food so I will definitely need to come back.

A cosy town, not too small, not too large.
A cosy town, not too small, not too large. The megalithic burial tomb complex dating back to Neolithic- Bronze Age (Dolmen de Menga, Dolmen de Vieta) is within walking distance from city center. Our main reason to visit Antequera was to see these 5000-6000 years old burial tombs. We loved the city.

A very nice medium sized town with an interesting historic Quarter. Everything clean and nice giving an impression of a caring local population. I think the local council has spent time and money on the historic buildings. The nearby dolmen are also well worth visiting.
The hotel was brilliantly located for exploring Granada, Seville, Cordoba, Malaga and Ronda (car drive was 1 -1.25 hours each way to the city and back ). It was situated just near a roundabout linking all the major highways. It was bright and clean. The rooms were large and comfortable with a fridge in the room.
Dinner was excellent and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was taken in the cafe next to the dining room and was full of local people.
The staff were charming and very helpful.
The hotel is next to a beautiful open square with chairs to enjoy being outside and people watching. You are two blocks from the tourist information office where a wonderful staff person gave us many suggestions and things to see and do. A few blocks away is a busy street with interesting shops and restaurants. The outdoor terraces at this hotel are spacious with comfortable chairs and good views. Our hotel room was smaller. The bed was great.
Breakfast was lovely, typical Spanish buffet, the food was of good quality and quantity. Waitress provided the drinks was quick, polite and cheerful. The breakfast room was clean fresh and light. Whilst the room was very clean and fresh it was plain and lacked character, this wasn’t a problem and I know others wouldn’t worry and in no way is a criticism of the hotel, as a base for exploring it is ideal as the hotel is in a good position.
The clerk was very helpful in helping me get a parking space near the hotel (when his shift ended I took HIS space). That saved me lots of time and stress as I had to leave quite early to catch a flight. There is a free parking area about 200 meters downhill from the hotel, by the way. I recommend pulling up to the hotel, offload your bags, leave them at reception and then park....the receptionist can direct you to where the parking is.
Charming hotel a bit away from the town of Antequera but well worth the 30 min drive. Beautiful farmland around. Lovely area to be peaceful and quiet. But close to magnificent El Torcal for a day hike. Staff were all warm and extremely friendly and went out of their way to help us when we had car troubles. Breakfast was lovely and dinner was outstanding.
The location of the hotel is very good for visiting the dolmens and the city, which is only 4 minutes away by car.
the atmosphere of the hotel is quite nice, but the cafeteria/breakfast bar area is very noisy due to the large number of guests from the surrounding area. the best alternative is to use the terrace.
We liked the furnishings and the ambience of our room. The hotel is located in central Antequera but was only 16-17 minutes walking distance to Dolmen de Menga, a nearly 6000 years old tomb complex. We loved the hot bath after a long day of train ride and sightseeing.
Located in the heart of Antequera. Part of a family business that includes a restaurant below the rooms, open to the street. Parking is very hard around, but it's possible to stop the car in front the for some minutes. Friendly family, thank for everything.
Reasonably priced hotel in the very centre of Antequera. Tidy rooms, clean bathrooms, lift available. We haven't got a chance to check it out, but on the ground level there's a nice-looking restaurant.
The views are amazing and the hotel is in a really good location if you are looking to be situated outside of Antequera. The building is also beautiful but perhaps needs a bit of maintenance done to it
Was near the highway, good for a quick stop (near El Torcal de Antequera)
Nice big room (we took the Deluxe suite) for only a few extra pounds
little fruit seller next to the hotel
Hotel in good location. Easy walk into the town. Room spacious, clean and what you expect from a Parador hotel. Evening meal in the Restaurant was very good as was the breakfast.
